Yours, Truly  is the fifth studio album by American singer and songwriter Rowan Blanchard. The album was released on August 4, 2023, by Interscope Records.

Yours, Truly received mostly positive reviews from music critics. The album sold 341,000 copies in the United States during it's first week, down from the sales of Drop Dead, her foirth studio album. Worldwide, it sold 675,000 copies during the first week. The album was able to top the charts in the US, Canada, UK, Australia, Japan, South Korea, Mexico, and New Zealand and the top five in nine other nations.

The album had received a nomination for Best Pop Vocal Album at the 66th Grammy Awards, becoming her second nomination in the category. To promote the album, Rowan embarked on the Yours, Truly Stadium Tour, starting on May 8, 2024 and ended on November 21 of the same year. The tour grossed $385.7 million

Release[]

Shortly after finishing the The Drop Dead Tour in December 2022, Blanchard began writing songs for the album during the tour and continued writing new songs until October 3, 2023, just one month before the release of the album.

In an interview, Blanchard said she was working on her fifth studio album and would release a single sometime soon.

On March 20, 2023, Blanchard's social media accounts and websites were all shut down. Four weeks later, on April 17, they all were back up. On Instagram, all her previous posts were deleted. They were replaced with nine images. When put side-by-side, the images spelled out "April 21st". This was followed by a countdown on Blanchard's official website. The countdown ended with the release of the "What We Do In The Shadows" and its music video.

She released the lead single, "What We Do In The Shadows", just four days later. On May 18, she announced a second song, titled "Rose Petals On Our Bed", the next day as a promotional single. However, a month later, it was released as the second official single from the album. During the month-long gap between the release of "Rose Petals" and the album, Blanchard released "Never End" as a promotional single.

What We Do In The Shadows was released as the lead single from the album on April 21, 2023. The song shows a more sexual side of Blanchard, with scenes in the music video depicting Blanchard and an unnamed male protagonist doing sexual acts. The single debuted atop the US Billboard Hot 100, becoming Blanchard's ninth number one following 2022's "i dance like no one's watching". It also reached number one in Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, Japan, New Zealand, Belgium and various other countries. The song had been streamed nearly 40 million times on Spotify during it's first week. The track received praise from critics, who noted the fact that Blanchard, who had been purposefully avoiding doing anything that would be considered "sexy", had finally broken out of her shell.

Rose Petals On Our Bed was released as the next single from the album on June 30, 2023. It had previously been released as a promotional single on May 19 but was later serviced to US contemporary hit and adult contemporary radio on June 30 as the album's second single. The single debuted at number seventeen on the US Billboard Hot 100, but peaked at number one in the United States and Australia the following week. It later went on the peak at number one in Canada and at number three in the United Kingdom. The music video was released on July 4, 2023 and quickly became number one on trending, getting 117 million views in one week.

A duet version of Dance With Me with English singer-songwriter Sam Smith was released as the third single from Yours, Truly on November 17, 2023. The music video shows Blanchard and Smith dancing, in a 1960's setting. The song became the second single from the album to debut atop the US Billboard Hot 100, and remained at number one for fourteen consecutive weeks, marking Blanchard's and Smith's longest run at the top and was also Smith's first chart topper.

Invincible was released as the fourth single from the album, on April 5, 2024. A music video was released two weeks later. It shows Blanchard's ex-boyfriend walking away while she is locked in her house, which is slowly being engulfed by flames. The song debuted at number forty-three on the Billboard Hot 100, and later peaked at number six, breaking Blanchard's streak of nine number one singles in a row.

Yours, Truly, the title track, was serviced to Australian and New Zealand radio stations as the album's fourth single in both countries and fifth overall on July 4, 2024. Musically, the track is a synth-pop number. Lyrically, the song speaks about writing a letter to your significant other whom you are in a long distance relationship with. The song was praised by critics. Rob Sheffield of Rolling Stone called the song "an excellent representation of a long distance relationship. You know the relationship is doomed and won't last. Yet, you try your best to believe it will." A tour video was filmed for the song and was released as a music video. The song debuted at number 7 in New Zealand, and 16 in Australia. It was released as a single in the United Kingdom just three weeks later and peaked at number four. The song wasn't released as a single in the United States.

Speechless was released as the fifth single in the United States, and the sixth single from the album overall. The song was officially supposed to impact contemporary hit radio in the U.S. on November 12, 2024, before being pushed back by one week to November 19, 2024, and in the UK on November 30, 2024. The music video was filmed in December 2024, and premiered on January 6, 2025. It was directed by Joseph Kahn. The video shows Blanchard meeting a friend at a coffee shop and eventually ending the night in a kiss after playing in a park, bouncing on trampolines. The music video received 103.4 million views within 24 hours on YouTube. The single debuted at number thirty-one on the Billboard Hot 100 and peaked at number thirteen the following week.

Pretty Pastels was released as the sixth single in the United States and the seventh single overall on May 8, 2025. The track received polarizing reviews from music critics, who praised its lyrics, but were ambivalent towards its composition. The song debuted at number fifty on the Billboard 100 chart in the United States and later peaked at number forty-three the following week. A music video was planned but not released due to a disagreement between Blanchard and her record label.

Promotional single[]

Never End was released as a promotional single on July 28, 2023, a week before the release of the album. During a Genius interview, Blanchard said that the song was about "the feeling you get when you're having so much fun, and you're like "I never want this night to end", because it's just so magical but you know that, eventually, it'll end." The song debuted at number thirty on the Billboard Hot 100. The following week, the track peaked at number twenty-four, selling 79,000 units after the release of its music video.
