Wiwaxia domestica is a species of soft-bodied animal, distantly related to annelids (worms and relatives) and mollusks (snails, cephalopods, and relatives) that originally lived in early Cambrian and middle Cambrian oceans and was once extinct, but was brought back from extinction by SciiFii. Wiwaxia domestica is covered in carbonaceous scales and spines that protect it from its would-be-predators. Wiwaxia domestica can grow to be up to 5 centimetres (2 inches) when fully grown. It is an omnivore that mainly feeds on algae and tiny animals that can fit into its mouth, despite being a slow animal, it is able to keep up with some small shrimp, crabs, and even tiny fish. It is a common and popular aquarium animal due to its bizarre appearance similar to the original Cambrian Wiwaxia species, however, some people have unintentionally or deliberately released Wiwaxia domestica into the coasts of California, causing Wiwaxia domestica to proliferate and flourish due to abundant food sources, thus rendering Wiwaxia domestica as an invasive species.
