Witches of Townsend is American thrash metal band Townsend Sacrifice's debut album, released on June 8 1989 through Batched Records. It is followed by 1994's Through The Looking Glass.

Townsend Sacrifice's 1989 debut, "Witches of Townsend", feauturing their emblem, a pyre, which is synonymous to the fictional setting of Townsend, where witch burnings are common, according to MacArthur
