The White dhole, known as the polar or arctic dhole, is a subspecies of dhole with white fur, but during the summer, they have dark grayish-brown coats. Unlike most other dhole subspecies, they are found in the polar and arctic regions of North America, Europe and Asia, temperate woodlands and steppe regions. They feed on reindeer, musk oxen, yaks, moose, saiga antelopes, seals and occassion whale carcasses. They face competition gray wolves.
