Chapter 1:

Stinky and Jake were beaming. They were hosting a successful show, and were on top of the world. Except, for one day......
Stinky and Jake came to the studio early that day. But Jake usually came in the earliest before anyone. The phone rang, and Jake answered it.
"Hello, Animal Show host Jake the Polar Bear speaking. Uh huh, what? Oh no. Well, thank you." Jake couldn't believe it. After pulling many strings and getting a new show on the air, it was canceled. Jake sat down on a crate listed "Fragile", and just sighed. "What am I going to tell the others?", he wondered to himself.

"Hiya, Jake! What's happening? Gimme some paw!" Stinky raised his paw for a high five, but Jake didn't respond. "Jake? What's wrong Jake?" Jake looked up at the skunk. "Stinky, I'm afraid, that we're canceled." Stinky couldn't believe it. His one chance to prove that he belonged with "one big happy family group" was over. But not just for him, but for all the little animals who either worked with or guest starred on the show, to prove that they belonged on television was over. He sat down next to Jake. "What are we going to do now?" Jake's mind was elsewhere. He was thinking of how devistated everyone would be about this.

"Everyone, everyone please settle down. Please? Everyo....." Jake's loud whistle silenced everyone in the meeting room. Except for a snake, who was busy swallowing Rhonda Rat whole. "Drop her." The snake spit out the blonde-haired rat. "Hey! This was a new dress you overgrown...."
"Please! Now everyone, I have some bad news." Everyone started talking at once.
"Bad news?"
"Oh no!"
"Doesn't look good."
"QUIET!!" Stinky's yell silenced everyone in the room. "Go ahead Jake."
"Guys, The Animal Show has been officially canceled." Words couldn't describe the outrage and the sadness that was in the other animals' voices.
"You're kidding!"
"Oh, no."
"What are we going to do?"
A generic female bird stood up and proclaimed, "I know what we should do!"
"What?" Stinky asked.
A musical intro began.
"LAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!"

The meeting room was full of blank stares at the musically gifted bird.
"Uh, let's not. Now guys, anybody have any ideas?"

Chapter 2:

Stinky and Jake looked at the faces of their furry, feathery, scaly, slimy, finny, and backbone-less colleages. So many faces they have known for a long time, and many they just met. They couldn't shake the feeling that it was their fault this happened. They were silent for a little while, until Bunnie spoke.
"Cousin Jakey, what are we going to do?"
Jake looked into the eyes of his cousin and responded sadly.
"I don't know, I just....don't......lets take a five minute break." With that, Jake rushed out the door, leaving behind many confused animals.
"Cousin Jakey?"
Stinky stood up. "I'll go talk to him."
Stinky looked around for the depressed polar bear, until he found him sitting on the studio desk with his paws in his face.
"Jake, could you tell me what this is about?"
Jake looked up at Stinky with tears in his eyes, but looked down again.
"We've been in situations like this before Jake. We will bounce back."
Jake sighed and responded, "That was before. This is now. I mean, whenever we were in these situations, we had our family to help us out of it. But now......" His voice began to crack. "I failed, Stinky. I failed you. We fail each other. I'll never forgive myself. All those little animals in there are never going to find work again, and it is all my fault."
Stinky began to get tears in his eyes as well. He very well couldn't say that everything was going to be all right. It was hard to tell. He put his paw on Jake's back and said, "No you didn't. You did everything you could. You did everything that our family groups would've done. I'm proud of you Jake. Not just me, but everybody in there is proud as well. You gave them a chance to shine, and by gum, they did."
Jake smiled a little bit to Stinky's remark. They both stood up and headed back to the meeting room.
"Hey Stinky,"
"Yeah Jake?"
"Thanks."
"Don't mention it. What are friends for?"
But as soon as they got back inside the meeting room, chaos was ensuing. A giant argument was taking place, Animals were being thrown around the room, and alot of shouting.
"This is your fault!"
"ME?!"
"Hey Armstrong, we should..."
"Shut up!"
"Sacre bleu!!"
"HI YAH!"
"TRAPDOOR!!"
"Whoopskie Bearskie!"
Jake looked on in horror and slight interest. Stinky came over to them and said, "Guys, this meeting is out of control! What are we going to do?"
Jake looked at Stinky, then ducked a oncoming penguin.
"Good grief.

Chapter 3:

Stinky and Jake hopped onto the table and Jake shouted at the top of his lungs,
"WILL EVERYBODY CALM DOWN?!?!" All the animals froze. They stopped arguing, throwing and shouting. Armstrong, going against the laws of physics, was stuck in midair.
"Violence won't solve anything. Now everybody take a seat."
Everyone agreed and did so.
"But Jake," said Armstrong, "I can't."
"Uh, that's okay, just.....stay up there and listen. Now, does anybody have any suggestions of what we should do?"
The female bird stood up again.
"I know what we should do!!"
"If it is that stupid song again....."
"LAAAAAA....."
[Animals] "SHUT UP!!!!"
"Sorry.." The bird sat down again.
Rhonda patted him on the back. "It's alright, I get tough crowds too."
Yves raised his hand.
"Yes Yves?"
"What about an old abandoned theater? Let's do a show there."
Jake didn't think of that. But nobody has been in that theater for ages.
"It's worth a shot Jake," said Stinky. "It's where we got our start, and maybe we can start over again."
With that, they agreed, and walked to the old abandoned theater. As they got there, they stood in front of it.
Jake smiled for the first time in hours. They were home again.

Chapter 4:

"Well guys, here we are.."
Jake opened the door to a dark room, and finally found the lightswitch after stumbling in the dark a little.
It was just as they left it, except really dusty and unkept.
"We can fix it up, and it will be as good as new. Let's get to work."
Everyone started to pick up things and dust off desks with their bodies and such. As they were doing that, Stinky and Jake walked on the bare stage and looked into a empty audience. He gently whispered, "From under the ocean, over the clouds, and around the world, here comes the wild side of wildlife, the Animal Show."
Armstrong was dusting away, when he realized that his best friend, Bunnie Bear, wasn't anywhere to be found. He started to look back after season 1 finished production. Back when Armstrong went outside to look for Ollie the tapir, and found Ollie standing on the sidewalk with a suitcase in her hand.
"Ollie, what are you doing?"
The tapir sighed and looked at her best friend.
"I'm quitting show business."
"What?! Why?"
"I'm moving to South America. I found a nice little condo to live in."
"But Ollie, why?"
"I did what I wanted to do in show business, and that was to entertain the little animals. Now, I am going to start a new chapter in my life."
"But Ollie," Armstrong started getting tears in his eyes, "you have a family here. We love you."
The tapir smiled. "I love you guys too. But I need to do this. I need to find myself."
"I'll miss you Ollie."
"I'll miss you too Armstrong."
With that, they gave each other a hug.
"And now, it's time for,"
"That's Amazing," Ollie said softly.
"If you're a fish, you live in the sea. That's your habitat."
"This is Ollie the Tapir."
"And Armstrong the Chicken Hawk," Armstrong started to cry.
"Just back from the...." Ollie started to cry as well.
A big Taxi pulled up as they finished the song.
"Well, this is it."
"Take care of yourself."
"You too."
The tapir hopped into the taxi, and the taxi started to drive away.
Armstrong stood on the sidewalk all alone, and started to sing a sad song.
"We are one big happy family. We come together over land and sea." He sadly walked back into the studio.
Inside the taxi, Ollie started to sing as well.
"And though we're different, we all agree."
They sang together, "We are a family."
