Disney In The House: Halloween is a 2024 American animated monster comedy film produced by Dice Productions and released by Walt Disney Pictures. The sequel to 2023's Vanellope & Friends: A Dinosaur's World and the tenth installment in the Vanellope & Friends film series, it was directed by Malcolm L. Dee and features the voices of Sarah Silverman, Andy Serkis, Yahya Abdul Matten II, James Corden, Jack Black, Catherine Keener, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Dustin Hoffman, who voice new characters introduced. On the night before Halloween, Vanellope von Schweetz ends up in a haunted house where they team up with inhabitant monsters against Abraham Van Helsing, who intends to destroy all monsters, while also having to deal with a fear of death at the hands of a black-hooded blue light shaped like a ghost.

Disney In The House: Halloween was released theatrically in the United States on October 18, 2024. The film grossed $656 million worldwide, becoming the highest-grossing Halloween film of all time, and the eighth highest-grossing film of 2024. The film received positive reviews from critics. A sequel, Vanellope & Friends: Ocean, was released on September 5, 2025.

In the United States, Vanellope & Friends: Halloween was projected to gross $200 million in its opening weekend. In the opening weekend, it earned $240 million worldwide, including $107 million from its first day of release. It has grossed $277 million in North America and $379 million overseas, for a worldwide total of $656 million worldwide, against a $175 million production budget. It is the highest-grossing Halloween film.

Critical response[]

Vanellope & Friends: Halloween received general critical acclaim. On Rotten Tomatoes, it holds a 90% approval rating based on reviews from 280 critics. The site's consensus reads, "Vanellope & Friends: Halloween boasts impressive animation, a greatly-chosen voice cast, good-enough humor, clever writing, and pleasant-enough trick-or-treat fun for the whole family". On Metacritic, the film has a score of 75 out of 100 based on 56 critics, indicating "generally favorable" reviews. Audiences polled by CinemaScore gave the film a grade of "A" on an A+ to F scale.
