The Urban boar is a subspecies of wild boar that can survive in cities, towns, urban areas, and suburbs, as well as forests, swamps, and grasslands of Europe and Asia, where they are native to, but were also successfully introduced to North America, where they are the most successful wild boar subspecies due to their readiness to adapting to human settlements. They can tolerate very well with human activities, much like feral dogs, Red American hogs, urban tapirs, urban mule deer, and many other city-dwelling species.
