Tron: Legacy 2 is a 2012 American science fiction film directed by Joseph Kosinski and produced by Steven Lisberger. It is a sequel to the 1982 film Tron and 2010 film Tron: Legacy with Jeff Bridges reprising his roles as Kevin Flynn and CLU, Garrett Hedlund reprising his roles as Sam Flynn, Olivia Wilde reprising her roles as Quorra and Bruce Boxleitner reprising his roles as Alan Bradley/Tron. The other cast members include Georgie Henley as Renesmee Flynn/Rhonda Flynn, Sam's cousin and Kevin's niece, Daveigh Chase as Eve, who save Sam and Renesmee from get kill by CLU in a Light Cycle match and CLU's apprentice, Tayna Chrisholm as Alia Weston, Sam's friend, Scout Taylor-Compton as Hannah Flynn, Robert Pattinson as Frank Flynn and Patricia Clarkson as Zoe Flynn, Nicholas D'Agosto and Dakota Fanning as Eric and Izzy, Eric is Renesmee's love interest in the Grid and Izzy is a girl who helps Sam, Kevin and Renesmee.
Summary
The son and the niece of a virtual world designer teleports to the grid. They go look his father/her uncle, his apprentice who is kidnapped by CLU and they has to save the earth and the grid.
Plot
Renesmee Flynn (Georgie Henley), the niece of Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges) of and the cousin of Sam Flynn (Garrett Hedlund) write her new diary and write and said in the diary "This is my life and my cousin think I was becomes jealous when Sam got Quorra (Olivia Wilde), uncle Kevin's apprentice but I not sure Quorra is Sam's girlfriend. But I never see uncle Kevin, he in the grid". Renesmee had a hard time when her twin sister, Rhonda (Also play by Henley) went missing. Renesmee hide her diary in her blue sock when Sam open the door with Quorra.
In the grid, CLU (who also play by Jeff Bridges) is still alive. CLU saw Kevin who is still alive. CLU and Kevin start to fight. CLU grab Kevin by the throat and tell Kevin "This is not over and I will get you". CLU's apprentice, Eve (Daveigh Chase) worried CLU and think CLU never win in the fight. CLU told Eve, he also win in the fight. Eve saw Kevin stand up and walk away. Sam, Renesmee and Quorra is visited by Kevin's friend, Alan Bradley (Bruce Boxleitner) and Alia Weston (Tanna Chrisholm), Alan and Alia tell Sam, Renesmee and Quorra about the grid but Renesmee don,t believe about the grid and think Kevin is still alive and is in the grid. Alan and Alia is not sure about that. Zoe Flynn (Patricia Clarkson), Frank Flynn (Robert Pattinson) and Hannah Flynn (Scout Taylor-Compton) got dinner for Sam, Renesmee and Quorra but Renesmee don,t wanted to eat and Renesmee went to her bedroom.
Eve look in earth in the computer and look for somebody to get kidnapped by CLU. CLU saw Eve and tell her to find somebody. CLU find Zoe's house in the computer and CLU go close in the house. CLU find Quorra and CLU will kidnapped Quorra. Then CLU find Renesmee write in her new diary. CLU tell Eve the time will kidnapped Quorra, 11:22pm. 4 hour later, Renesmee see her time machine is still made and write in her new diary. Zoe give the food for Renesmee, a apple, 2 chocolate bars, orange and juice to eat later. Renesmee write in her new diary with eat the chocolate bar and said "I wish I see uncle Kevin in the grid."
CLU transfer to the real world and to find Quorra. Renesmee saw CLU kidnapped Quorra. Renesmee take her brother's car and follow CLU. Sam saw Renesmee take his motorbike and he follow Renesmee. CLU found Renesmee. CLU and Renesmee fight and CLU push Renesmee and lock the door. CLU unintentionally teleports himself to the Grid with Quorra. Sam found Renesmee and Renesmee tell Sam, CLU kidnapped Quorra. Sam open the door. Renesmee found a whole bunch of viruses what CLU done the computer. Sam and Renesmee escape by the internet to the Grid and they found out the earth is in danger and also as the Grid. Renesmee wanted to know the people in the grid found out the grid is danger.
