Differences[]
- Rather than dying, Demolishor is mentioned as "being captured" by MECH.
- There are no human casualties from the Decepticons.
- No adult humour to be found, as well as most college related humour.
- It is stated that Megatron is in a coma as opposed to being dead.
- Rather than getting into a fight, Daniel chooses to leave the party of his own accord and Carlos follows.
- Bumblebee knocks Soundwave out instead of Optimus ripping his head apart.
- Megatron simply shoots Optimus and puts him into a coma "for a long, long time."
- Unicron broadcasts the message to the humans stating that they will attack Earth if they don't give Daniel up. The Decepticons never do launch a full attack on Earth.
- Jetfire is never a Decepticon, only Autobot.
- No individual Decepticons are killed at Egypt, but are destroyed by the airstrike.
- The Matrix gives Optimus a brief power boost with armour, rather than Jetfire sacrificing himself.
- After knocking him off the pyramid, Optimus doesn't fight Megatron in the ruins.
- Optimus knocks both he and Unicron into the star harvester and it thrown down the pyramid when it explodes. Only Optimus is said to survive.
- Daniel and Carly don't kiss at the end, but do still say that they love each other. Instead the hug.
