Transformers: Generation One is an American animated TV series based on the Transformers franchise. It is a remake of the original series from 1984, but with several changes which includes references based off the live-action movies, Animated, Prime, Rescue Bots & Robots in Disguise (2015). It also contains character designs & elements from other shows such as Star vs. the Forces of Evil, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, Equestria Girls, the Loud House, Over the Hedge, Gravity Falls, Adventure Time, Regular Show, the more well-received episodes of Teen Titans Go, Steven Universe, Mighty Magiswords, Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, T.U.F.F. Puppy & The Amazing World of Gumball.

Plot[]

Years after crash landing on Earth, the benevolent Autobots and malevolent Decepticons are awaken by a volcanic eruption and their years old war begins again - this time with humans in between.

  • Windblade (Kristy Wu): Optimus's charming yet self-centered Second-in-Command & love interest who’s a better-than-average swordswoman & transforms into a Black/Red/White AgustaWestland AW609 VTOL Helicopter.

  • Bumblebee (Will Friedle): The Autobots' Fourth-in-Command & Recon Scout who transforms into a Yellow/Black Suzuki Swift Subcompact Car similar to his Online counterpart. He’s based off Dan Gilvezan’s portrayal.

  • Ratchet (Jeffery Combs): The Autobots' Team Medic who transforms into a White/Red Advanced Life Support Vehicle. He's based off Don Messick's portrayal.
  • Jazz (Arif S. Kinchen): An Autobot who responds well to change & improvisation & transforms into a White/Blue/Silver/Red Street Rally Sports Car. He's based off Scatman Crothers' portrayal.
  • Prowl (Alex Skuby): The Autobots' Strategist who transforms into a White/Black 2016 Ford Taurus Police Interceptor Car. He’s based off Michael Bell’s portrayal.
  • Bulkhead (Kevin Michael Richardson): Autobot Munitions Specialist & brother figure to Ironhide & Leadfoot & a former Wrecker who transforms into a Green Modified Mercedes-Benz Unimog Truck/CH-47 Chinook Twin-Rotor Helicopter.
  • Arcee (Sumalee Montano): An Autobot Amazon, Cliffjumper’s sister figure & Bumblebee’s love interest who transforms into a Blue Kawasaki Ninja 250R Motorcycle with Dark Pink Trims similar to her Prime & Robots in Disguise (2015) counterparts. She’s based off Susan Blu’s portrayal.
    • Wheelie (Eden Sher): Arcee's naïve Mini-Con who transforms into a Blue/Orange Toy Monster Truck similar to her live-action counterpart/Data Disc.   • Chromia (Tabitha St. Germain): Autobot Bodyguard, Elita-One’s sister & Ironhide's love-interest who’s as eager & hot-headed as him. She transforms into a Blue Navistar Defense Tactical Pickup Truck. Her voice pattern is based off Luna from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.
  • Sideswipe (Travis Willingham): A reckless yet effective Autobot Ninja who transforms into a Red/Silver Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible similar to his live-action counterpart. He’s based off Michael Bell’s portrayal.
  • Skids (Tabitha St. Germain): The perfect absent-minded warrior who transforms into a Blue/Black/Green Chevrolet Spark similar to her Dark of the Moon counterpart. Her voice pattern is based off Derpy Hooves from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic & her robot mode resembles her human counterpart from the Equestria Girls franchise, wearing a tie, a lab coat, a T-Shirt, a skirt & trainers.
  • Mudflap (Liliana Mumy): Skids' equally as ditzy twin sister & partner who transforms into a Black/Orange Chevrolet Spark similar to her Dark of the Moon counterpart. Her voice pattern is based off & her robot mode resembles Leni Loud from the Loud House, wearing a pair of shades on her head, a sun dress & sandals.
  • Jetfire (Troy Baker): The Autobots’ air commander who transforms into a Gunmetal Grey/Red SR-71 Blackbird similar to his live-action counterpart. He’s based off Gregg Berger’s portrayal.

  • Wheeljack (Christopher Swindle): Autobot Engineer who transforms into a White/Green/Red Jaguar F-type Sports Car. He’s based off Christopher Collins’ portrayal.

    • Fixit (Mitchell Whitfield): Wreck-Gar's Mini-Con who transforms into an Orange Data Disc/Toyota Industries Diesel-Powered Hybrid Forklift.
  • Omega Supreme (Fred Tatasciore): A giant Silver/Yellow/Red Omega Sentinel who transforms into Cybertronian Mothership similar to his War for Cybertron counterpart/Cybertronian Heavy Battle Tank. He’s based off Jack Angel’s portrayal.

  • Nova Prime (James Arnold Taylor): The former leader of the Autobots until Primus corrupted him & made him into a power-hungry tyrant who ends up betraying the Autobots & his own ideals. He transforms into a White/Black Kenworth T800 Tanker Truck.
  • Trailcutter (Steve Blum): An Autobot with a sense of humor from the Elite Guard who’s also a technomancer who transforms into a Black Conquest Knight-XV Urban Assault Vehicle. His voice pattern is based on Techmo from Regular Show.
    • Sqweeks (Jessica DiCicco): Trailcutter's sports-loving Mini-Con who transforms into a Turquoise Vespa Motorscooter similar to her live-action counterpart/Data Disc.   • Sunstreaker (Darren Criss): Sideswipe's twin brother who transforms into a Yellow Lamborghini Diablo Sports Car. He's based off Corey Burton's portrayal.
  • Huffer (Kevin Michael Richardson): Autobot Engineer who transforms into a Red/Yellow Peterbilit 379 Semi-Truck. His voice pattern is based off Mr. Gus from Uncle Grandpa.
  • Rosanna/Flip Sides (Lena Hall): A singer who became a double agent, but still records songs until her planned comeback. As Rosanna, she transforms into a Pink Chevrolet Beat Concept Car & as her true self, she transforms into a Purple/Blue Bulletproof Hummer Limousine with Dark Pink Trims. Her voice pattern is based off Countess Coloratura from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic & her robot modes resemble how a humanized version of Coloratura would look like, with her Autobot identity having a natural hairstyle & wearing a croptop, a skirt & high heels & her true self having a long ponytail & wearing a veil that can conceal her face, a purple jacket based off the late Prince’s, a T-Shirt, a translucent skirt, stylized jeans & strut boots.
  • Gears (Mark Hamill): Trailcutter's best friend who the other Transformers go to get ideas & ask him for solutions to fix their problems, but he misses Cybertron & befriends Rewind, Seaspray & Snarl. He transforms into a Blue/Red/Gray Range Rover Sport 2013 SUV. His voice pattern is based off Skips from Regular Show.
  • Windcharger (Vincent Martella): Autobot Racer who transforms into a Red Dodge Charger Sports Car. His voice pattern is based off Phineas Flynn from Phineas & Ferb.
  • Silverstreak (Hynden Welch): A naïve but nice Autobot Warrior who befriends Nightbird & Beachcomber & even Crazybolt & Thunderwing & transforms into a Silver/Blue Nissan 350Z Sports Car. Her voice pattern is based off & her robot mode resembles Starfire from Teen Titans & Teen Titans Go, wearing a midriff, a skirt & boots.
  • Hoist (Andrea Libman): The family doctor of the Autobots & party planner who befriended Tracks, Powerglide, Flareup, Sky Lynx,  Red Alert, Pyro & even Slipstream, became Wreck-Gar's girlfriend & transforms into a Green/Orange 2017 Western Star 4900SF Tow Truck. Her voice pattern is based off Pinkie Pie from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic & her robot mode resembles her human counterpart from the Equestria Girls franchise, wearing a doctor’s uniform & a party outfit, consisting of a dress shirt, a short skirt & boots, when she’s at a party she threw.
  • Tracks (Tabitha St. Germain): An Autobot with a Gentlewoman's manor & secretly Knock Out's girlfriend, who speaks in a Mid-Atlantic accent, befriends Hoist, Powerglide, Flareup, Sky Lynx, Red Alert, Pyro & even Slipstream & transforms into a Blue/Silver Rolls Royce Ghost Luxury Car. Her voice pattern is based off Rarity from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic & her robot mode resembles her human counterpart from the Equestria Girls franchise, usually wearing a frilly top, a country club jacket, a T-Shirt, a scarf, double belts, a Miniskirt & high heels, but she does change her attire based on the situation.
  • Grapple (Tony Shalhoub): An Autobot Engineer who transforms into an Orange Liebherr LTM Mobile Crane. His voice pattern is based off Adrian Monk from Monk.
  • Blaster (Jessi Nowack): The Autobots’ Communication Officer & Soundwave's worst enemy turn girlfriend who has a great love of Earth culture, rock music & other forms of music as long as it is hard. When Soundwave got trapped into the Shadowzone, she began to work & long to get him out of there, which she eventually does. She used to talk, but lost her voice when Megatron slashed her throat, but was eventually able to get it back thanks to the Omega Lock. She transforms into a Red/Yellow/Gray Offroad Communications Hummer SUV/General Atomics MQ-9 Reaper Unmanned Aerial Vehicle. Her voice pattern is based off DJ Pon-3 from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic & her robot mode resembles her human counterpart from the Equestria Girls franchise, wearing headphones, a pair of purple-shaded specs, a jacket with a dress shirt & a tie underneath, armwarmers, a skirt with pants underneath & sneakers.
    • Steeljaw (Troy Baker): Blaster's Yellow/Blue Lion-themed Mini-Con who’s the leader of her Mini-Cons & transforms into a Data Disc/Jeep Wrangler. He’s based off Frank Welker’s portrayal.
    • Sundor (Grace Rolek): Blaster's Orange Falcon-themed Mini-Con who transforms into a Data Disc/Gyrodyne. Her voice pattern is based off & her robot mode resembles Connie Maheswaran from Steven Universe, wearing a sundress & boots.
    • Ramhorn (Fred Tatasciore): Blaster's Black Rhinoceros-themed Mini-Con who transforms into a Data Disc/Self-Propelled Concussion Cannon. He’s based off John Hostetter’s portrayal.
    • Rewind (Jessica DiCicco): Blaster's Mini-Con who interested in poetry, séances & gothic fiction, though she does need a break from it from time to time & befriends Gears, Seaspray & Snarl. She also has an uncanny ability to teleport, which often frightens other Transformers & transforms into a Black Data Disc/CD Player. Her voice pattern is based off & her robot mode resembles Lucy Loud from the Loud House, with hair covering & wearing a funeral dress, striped socks & shoes.
  • Nightbird (Pamela Adlon): Autobot Bounty Hunter who’s a former Decepticon who lost her left optic, Fracture & Lockdown’s love interest & later became friends with Silverstreak & Beachcomber & even Crazybolt & Thunderwing as well as secretly becoming Lockdown’s girlfriend who transforms into a Dark Pale Blue/Red/Black Tronatic Everia Muscle Car. Her voice pattern is based off & her robot mode resembles Rose Wilson from Teen Titans Go, wearing an eye-patch over her left optic after she lost it until Lockdown was able to find it & Red Alert was able to place it back in & a unitard with armor pieces.
  • Powerglide (Ashleigh Ball): Autobot Daredevil & Acrobat, who like Jetfire, was originally a Seeker, later befriended Hoist, Tracks, Flareup, Sky Lynx,  Red Alert, Pyro & even Slipstream & transforms into a Red/White E2 Hawkeye Spy Plane/Cybertronian Ground Treaded Vehicle similar to her Animated counterpart. Her voice pattern is based off Rainbow Dash from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic & her robot mode resembles her human counterpart from the Equestria Girls franchise, wearing a pilot’s outfit, but she does also wear a Red/Orange/Yellow Sports Shirt, a Green Skirt with Blue Pants underneath & Purple Sneakers on her off-time.
  • Beachcomber (Ashley Johnson): Autobot Geologist & Geomancer who once teamed up with Starscream to overthrow Optimus & Megatron & later befriended Silverstreak & Nightbird & even Crazybolt & Thunderwing & transforms into a Blue 2017 RZR XP 1000 Three Quarter Dune Buggy. Her voice pattern is based off & her robot mode resembles Terra from Teen Titans & Teen Titans Go, wearing a metal mining helmet, a T-Shirt, a pair of shorts & rock-climbing shoes. Her rock golem form that she uses, at times, resembles Terra’s Terrarizer form from Teen Titans Go.
  • Moonracer (Britt McKillip): Female Autobot Sniper who transforms into a Green Louis Exeige Sports Car. Her voice pattern is based off Cadance from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.
  • Flareup (Ashleigh Ball): Arcee’s sister & Rosanna’s childhood friend who speaks in a Southern accent, befriended Hoist, Tracks, Powerglide, Sky Lynx, Red Alert, Pyro & even Slipstream & transforms into a Red/Orange 2017 Dodge Ram Power Wagon Pickup Truck. Her voice pattern is based off Applejack from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic & her robot mode resembles her human counterpart from the Equestria Girls franchise, wearing a metal cowboy hat, a Western-style shirt, a jean skirt & cowboy boots.
  • Alpha Trion (George Takei): A member from the Original Primes & Optimus' uncle figure who transforms into a Blue/Red Cybertronian Spacecraft similar to his Generation 1 counterpart. He’s based off John Stephenson’s portrayal.
  • Sky Lynx (Kathleen Barr): The boastful yet effective Autobot Magician & secretly Astrotrain's girlfriend who calls herself The Great & Powerful Sky Lynx & does very impressive magic tricks while she steals money from corrupt businessmen & women & gives it to people in need. She later became friends with Hoist, Powerglide, Tracks, Flareup, Red Alert, Pyro & even Slipstream & transforms into a White/Blue/Red General Atomics MQ-1 Predator Unmanned Aerial Vehicle/Mechanical Dragon similar to her Prime counterpart. Her voice pattern is based off Trixie Lulamoon from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic & her robot mode resembles her human counterpart from the Equestria Girls franchise, wearing a wizard’s hat & cape, evening gloves, a cocktail dress, fishnets & high heels when performing at an event & a hoodie, a skirt & sneakers when street performing or when not performing at all.
    • Cosmos (Michael McConnohie): Sky Lynx’s Green Mini-Con who transforms into a Data Disc/Robotic Rover based on Curiosity.
  • Primus (Isaac Singleton Jr.): The Light Lord & the Transformers’ God who transforms into a Blue/Grey Cybertronian Spaceship/Cybertronian Tank.

  • Springer (Travis Willingham): The leader of the Wreckers who transforms into a Green/Yellow Desert Patrol Vehicle/Eurocopter Dauphin Helicopter. He’s based off Neil Ross’ portrayal.
  • Kup (R. Lee Ermey): Wrecker Second-in-Command & Sergeant who has a wealth of experience & is known to tell war stories in which the Dinobots are fans of. He transforms into a Green T-98 KOMBAT Armored Car. He’s based off Lionel Stander & John Stephenson’s portrayals.
  • Strongarm (Constance Zimmer): Wrecker Third-in-Command, Ultra Magnus's apprentice & daughter-figure who transforms into a Navy Blue/Pale INKAS Armored Vehicle.
  • Leadfoot (John DiMaggio): Wrecker Fourth-in-Command, Ironhide & Bulkhead's brother figure & Hound’s best friend who speaks in a Cockney Accent & transforms into a Red/Yellow/Blue Weaponized Juan Pablo Montoya NASCAR #42 Target Chevrolet Impala Race Car similar to his live-action counterpart. His voice pattern is based off Jake the Dog from Adventure Time.
    • Fido (Eric Bauza): Leadfoot's Gray/Maroon Bulldog-based Mini-Con who acts as the Wreckers’ tracker. He transforms into a Data Disc/Bomb-Defusing Drone.
  • Roadbuster (Jeff Bennett): The Wreckers' Fifth-in-Command& Demolition Specialist who speaks in a Scottish accent & transforms into a Green/White/Orange Weaponized Dale Earnhardt, Jr. NASCAR #88 AMP Energy/National Guard Chevrolet Impala Race Car similar to his live-action counterpart.
  • Red Alert (Andrea Libman): Wrecker Medic & Ratchet's daughter figure who, while shy, will bring her a-game when her friends, Hoist, Tracks, Powerglide, Flareup, Sky Lynx, Pyro & even Slipstream, are threatened or when someone, not caring if they’re Autobot or Decepticon, is in need of emergency surgery, where she seduces her patients & kisses them with anesthetics inside her lips, though she does have to get permission from their love interests before doing so. She also has the Stare, which she used once against the Dinobots when Megatron manipulated them into overthrowing Optimus, they ended up fearing her including Grimlock. She transforms into a Red/White Dubai Ambulance Race Car/Blackhawk HH60L Medical Helicopter. Her voice pattern is based off Fluttershy from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic & her robot mode resembles her human counterpart from the Equestria Girls franchise, wearing a doctor’s coat, with the top Rarity gave her in the comics, a Miniskirt & hybrid sneaker heels.
  • Brawn (Corey Burton): Wrecker Muscle who transforms into a Green SUV that's a cross between a Land Rover Discovery Series II & a Jeep Cherokee XJ.
  • Twincast (Shannon Chan-Kent): Primus' clone of Blaster & secretly Soundblaster's girlfriend who, while she’s much louder & more obnoxious than Blaster, actually does manage to get along with any Transformer & Blaster does allow her to use her Mini-Cons when she needs them. She transforms into a Light Blue/Gray Equus 770 Muscle Car/Sailplane. Her voice pattern is based off & her robot mode resembles Lemon Zest from Equestria Girls: Friendship Games, wearing headphones, a sleeveless jacket, a T-Shirt, a pleated skirt with shorts underneath & Hybrid Roller Skates.
  • Inferno (Michael Daingerfield): Wrecker Firefighter who transforms into a Red Rosenbaur Panther Fire Truck. He’s based off Walker Edminston’s portrayal.
  • Hot Shot (Jason Jensen): A young Wrecker who’s brash & headstrong with an overwhelming self-confidence that borders on arrogance. He transforms into a Yellow/Blue/Red Gumpert Apollo Sports Car.
  • Pyro (Rebecca Shoichet): The Wreckers’ Pyro Specialist who joined to make up for burning some of Cybertron's cities to the ground & later befriended Hoist, Tracks, Powerglide, Flareup, Sky Lynx, Red Alert & even Slipstream & transforms into a Yellow/Red Chevrolet Camaro Sports Car. Her voice pattern is based off & her robot mode resembles Sunset Shimmer from the Equestria Girls franchise, wearing a biker jacket, a silk shirt, leggings & high heeled boots.
  • Warpath (Jamieson Price): Wrecker Artillery Specialist who transforms into a Red T-99 Tank. He’s based off Alan Oppenheimer’s portrayal.
  • Seaspray (Jennifer Praz): The toughest member of the Wreckers who’s homesick of Cybertron which allows her to befriend Gears, Rewind & Snarl & transforms into a White/Blue/Yellow Volkswagen Aqua Hovercraft. Her voice pattern is based off & her robot mode resembles Lapis Lazuli from Steven Universe.
  • Topspin (J.G.     • Vortex/Alice (Teresa Gallagher): Combaticon Second-in-Command, Interrogator & Shape Shifter & Onslaught's self-conscious & crazy but nice girlfriend who use her charm to manipulate anyone she's interrogating. She usually transforms into a Silver/Purple AH-64 Apache Helicopter similar to her live-action counterpart/Left Arm, but can transform into mechanical versions of various animals as well as any Transformer & even an 21 year old human girl while still able to use her robotic parts in her human body where even human girls wants her.   • Cade Yeager (Nolan North): A human mechanic & struggling inventor who befriends & aids Autobots after being rescued from the Decepticons by Optimus Prime. He acts more like Sparkplug Witwicky & Denny Clay from Robots in Disguise (2015).
  • Marissa Faireborn (Colleen Ann Villard): An agent & pilot in the Air Force who Carly sees as a mother figure.
    • Dutch (Alan Tudyk): Faireborn's personal assistant based off his live-action counterpart.
  • William Fowler (Ernie Hudson): a government agent & former US Army Ranger who serves as a liaison between the Autobots & the United States government. He usually only calls or appears at the Autobot base when the Transformers do something that threatens national security, but he steadily comes to value them as trusted comrades. He's based off his Prime counterpart.
  • William Lennox (John DiMaggio): A young, yet capable officer who has the friendship & trust of the men under his command. He's based off his live-action counterpart.
  • Robert Epps (Avery Kidd Waddell): Lennox's partner who's also based off his live-action counterpart.
  • Izabella (Isabella Moner): a 15 year old street-smart tomboy who grew up an orphan & was raised in foster care. She acts more like Hank/Heinretta from Robots is Disguise (2015).
  • Sam "Spike" Witwicky (Josh Keaton): A boy who spends his whole life helping the Autobots fight the Decepticons. He acts more like Jack Darby from Prime.
  • Maggie Madsen (Grey DeLisle-Griffin): Spike's best friend who often expresses skillful knowledge of science & computers and works closely with Wheeljack & Perceptor.
  • Joshua Joyce (Dee Bradley Baker): the ambitiously arrogant head of KSI who's based off his live-action counterpart.
    • Darcy Miramond (Hynden Walch): a brilliant young researcher specializing in possible applications of Energon. However, she's troubled by the fact that her research is used by her fellow human scientists & their Autobot allies to construct weapons.
  • Alexis (Tabitha St. Germain): A friend of Carly who wants to the first female President of the United States. She's based off her Armada counterpart.

  • Silas (Clancy Brown): the stone-faced leader of M.E.C.H., whose lethal obsession with Cybertronian biology would border on insanity, if his iron-mask of absolute control didn't obscure the sinister conspiracy percolating within.
  • Old Snake (Joseph Gordon-Levitt): an underground arms & technology dealer. He's based off Cobra Commander from the G.I. Joe franchise.
  • Doctor Arkeville (Dwight Schultz): a mad scientist who assisted Megatron in one of his schemes. He used hypno-chips to control the minds of humans to provide slave labor & a human shield for the Decepticons. He's based off Doctor Animo from the Ben 10 franchise.
  • Harold Attinger (Fred Tatasciore): a paranoid CIA director & government official who created the Cemetery Wind to eliminate all Transformers, Autobot or Decepticon, from Earth. He's based off his live-action counterpart.
    • James Savoy (James Arnold Taylor): a ruthless CIA Agent & field leader of the Cemetery Wind working for Attinger. He's based off his live-action counterpart.
  • Larry LaRue (John Katovsich): Cade's rival who hosts a reality show called Scrapmeisters. He's based off Robots in Disguise (2015) counterpart.
  • Samatha Lowmo/Slo-Mo (Tara Strong): A former clock inventor who later found a strange crystal with unlimited energy, she use it for her Time Stopping Watch.
  • Prometheus Black/Meltdown (Peter Stormare): a biotechnology engineer who attempts to replace the Transformers with humans with bio-amplification tech & developed acidic powers after augmenting Energon with his steroids in his research to find a means to penetrate Transformium alloys, accidentally breathing in the vapors when the now-acidic liquid spills over his lab. He could melt through practically anything, while donning an anti-melting suit to control his abilities.
  • Dylan Gould (David Sobolov): A business man who's Joshua's rival that selling tech-weapons based on the corpses of dead Generics he found & re-engineer his robotics.
  • Lord Chumley (Jim Cummings): a big time big-game hunter who once hired Nightbird, Fracture & Lockdown to get the head of Optimus Prime only for them to turn against him later.
  • Kicker Jones (Vincent Tong): Darcy's ex-boyfriend who hates the Transformers because one battle left him an orphan. He's based off his Energon counterpart
  • Shawn Berger (J. B. Blanc): a very rich, grandiloquent man who really wants is to be Mayor of Central City & he'll sell humanity out to Megatron for it where he helped in discrediting the Autobots. He's based off Kingpin from The Amazing Spider-Man 2 video game.
