The Town of Monsters is an American animated television series, produced by Disney Television Animation and developed by Greg Weisman and Victor Cook. It first aired on September 25, 2019.
The series was praised for its more intricate themes, darker tone, artistic presentation, and modernization of its cast of classic monsters such as vampires, werewolves, and ghosts. The series is also known for dipping into the horror genre while still being for kids.
Plot
The series follows the adventure of teenage werewolf Carson Jones, as he and his family and friends investigate the supernatural goings on in their town of Sherwood, indiana as portals open up to supernatural worlds across the multiverse.
In season 1, an event known as the collision of worlds occurs, opening portals from the world of the supernatural and sending monsters into our world.

- Laura bailey as Lisa smith, Carson’s mother and former monster hunter, whose also a source of information regarding the monsters.
- Eden Sher as Elise Francis smith, Carson’s sister and later on a prominent witch and Carson’s best companion in combating the darker forces.
- Kathy Bates as Mrs. Alice DeVito, the smith family’s psychic next door neighbor and fellow paranormal investigator.

- Rick D. Wasserman as the first Frankenstein monster/franky, the intelligent monster from the original novel who wandered the earth before ending up in sherwood.
- Fred Tatasciore as the second Frankenstein monster/Flat-head, the intellectually stunted creation of a descendant of victor frankenstein, based on the universal version of the monster.
- Misty Lee as the bride, the third creation of the frankenstein family who grows to a loving but cunning warrior throughout the series.
- Nolan north as Jack “Lawrence” Talbot/the wolfman, the werewolf who bitten carson and now must aid in fighting the darkness.
- Cree summers as Dr. Jane Masterson, Carson’s other next door neighbor who works as a medical doctor and a friend to the frankensteins and who works to understand the monsters invading the town.
- Jennifer hale as Lilly Albertson, Jane’s lover who works as a nurse in the hospital who also works to understand the monsters.
- John Dimaggio as John Crews, the town’s sheriff, who grows from a skeptic to a believer in the supernatural.
- Liam O'Brien as Victor Frankenstein, the infamous scientists who created the monster and started the frankenstein legacy who now haunts his first creation as a ghost.
- Sierra Boggess as Melanie Ravenswood, the ghost of a bride who haunted thunder mesa
- Troy Baker as Lycaon, the progenitor of the werewolves and the nemesis of Carson and eventually the entire town.
- Corey Burton as Count Dracula, a romanian warlord who became the world’s most powerful vampire
- Keith David as Im-ho-tep, an ancient egyptian priest who defied the sacred laws of the pharaohs and suffered the consequences with life as the undead.
- Vincent Price as the phantom of ravenswood manor (archival), a mysterious force that haunted thunder masa and now haunts sherwood
