To Seek Death is the second album by Australian doom metal band Winter's Soil, released November 19, 1999. Lisa Evan's violin began to be more noticeable in the band's sound with their second album. It followed 1998's Las Canciones De Dolor and was followed by 2001's Arise My Sons.

Like its predecessor, To Seek Death is essentially death/doom, with the brutal death metal elements almost entriely erased in place of a more present in the mix violin sound.

"To Seek Death is Melbourne doom six-piece Winter's Soil's second record, following 1998’s Las Canciones De Dolor. Although not as potent as its predecessor, To Seek Death is still raw and despairing with many of its tracks, inspired by death. Tracks such as “My Beloved Lies Torn” and “To Seek Death” twist your heart if you listen to the lyrics, and “Deathless Ages” and “Your Hopeless Paradise” are crashing doom metal operettas. It’s not the debut sound of the first record, but it still has meaning and desolation, what this band is all about.”
