Revision as of 10:54, 10 April 2017

The Steampunk Adventures of Sorcerer's Apprentices is tetralogy of Arthurian influenced historical fantasy fan-fiction series which first quarter of it's overall tracks reimagining events in Disney's The Sorcerer's Apprentice. This fan-fiction has confirmed to be exclusively released as literature in this wikia, so this wikia so far is the only site to read the Fan-fiction. The first page, Prologue, has been released in 11 October in 2014.

Aside sorcerers, the series also featured various magical beings and an ancient subspecies of human race called magus. Magus are similar with sorcerers and even very difficult to differentiated with regular sorcerers, but had natural ability to take a form of armored half-human, half-draconic being at will. Unlike in The Sorcerer's Apprentice film where how magic come to being remained mystery, reason why both sorcerers and maguses are capable to affect change by magical means were due to them descended from Ancients, inhabitants of both Atlantis and Lemurian civilazation who first discovered ways to manipulate a latent energy called Mana through their amplified brainpowers with their advanced Mana-fueled machines. The Ancients have sacrificed their glory to save Earth from destruction by very being who guided them for their golden age: Great One, cosmic being with godlike powers.

Plot

Unlike The Sorcerer's Apprentice that set in 2000s at New York City, the fan-fiction series is set in a fictional Scottish town named Trostville in alternate, steampunk world of The Sorcerer's Apprentice film universe where the story chronologically began from the year of 1938, prior to World War 2. The first premise of the series is remained consistent with original film: Balthazar Blake (whom under alias of Mr. Blake), a "Merlinian", is a sorcerer whom fighting against the forces of evil called Morganians in secret for centuries while searching for the person who will eventually inherit Merlin's powers ("The Prime Merlinean"). This turns out to be David "Raido" Stutler (1930s counterpart of Dave Stutler), a physics student and sorcerer-in-training whom reluctant to join him in his adventures due to his family lived through The Great War (whom later known as World War 1). The sorcerer gives his unwilling apprentice a crash course in the art of science, magic, and sorcery, in order to stop Ravage (former familiar of Zacros aka. Maxim Horvath) and Morgana le Fay from raising the souls of the evil dead sorcerers ("Morganians") and destroying the world.

The second premise involves Rebecca "Tlob" Barnes(1930s counterpart of Becky Barnes)' childhood best friend named Crona Snell whom accidentally brought into conflict between Merlineans and Morganians after discovered the long lost relic called Neathid cube that gave her magical powers similar to sorcerers. Everything become complicated with both sides began to express their clashing views on mankind's place in the world, and at the same time, grudges from CrossMages' horrible past returned to bring untold destruction to the world that forcing both Merlinean and Morganians united their forces against common enemy.
