The Sparticle Mystery Movie is a 2011 computer-animated traditionally live action comedy action fantasy film directed by Jennifer Yuh Nelson and Brad Bird.

The film features the voices of Thomas Horn, Jack Black, Michael J. Fox, Cree Summer, Dustin Hoffman, Michael Wincott, James Garner, Don Novello, David Cross, Kevin Kline, Jacqueline Obradors and Claudia Christian.

The film was based on a TV series of the same name but with animated characters and traditionally hand drawn were done by Ken Duncan and Glen Keane and all of the visual effects were done by Animal Logic who severe a production company. This was released in March 4, 2010 in Film Festival and on demand and in theatres in November.

The film was distributed by Walt Disney Pictures, Scott Free, Walden Media, Nickelodeon Movies and Jerry Bruckheimer Films. The music was composed by Hans Zimmer, John Powell and James Newton Howard.

In 2009, Before the release of G-Force, Disney hired Nickelodeon Movies and Walden Media to product the film. The film was based on a live action TV series in 2011 before the movie was released in November. In January 2010, Haley Bennett will have her own animation debut in the film. In March, five images of the movie release and a trailer will aired on Nickelodeon last November 2009.


In May 2009, Charlize Theron was originally going to voice Helga, but Theron didn't suit her character so Claudia Christian got the role instead in October.


The film was released on March 2010 on demand and the film was released in theatres on April 30, 2010 but it was pushed back to November 18, 2011 to avoid film release dates were Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, Shrek Forever After, Toy Story 3, Alpha and Omega, Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole, Megamind and Yogi Bear.

A 28-minute version of a Super Bowl tv spot was released on May 3, 2010 after the date was pushed back to 2011 before the films release. On September 4, 2010, a trailer for the movie was attached to Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole and Yogi Bear. On March 4, 2011, a second trailer for the movie was attached to Rango and Rio. On April 1, 2011, nine TV spots were aired on Nickelodeon. On May 26 2011, a third trailer for the movie was attached to Kung Fu Panda 2 and Cars 2. On June, July and August, seventeen TV spots were uploaded on YouTube and Nickelodeon. On October 2011, a fourth trailer was attached to Puss in Boots and on the 14th of October, Twenty-five tv spots were aired on Disney Channel and a final trailer was shown on the 21st of October attached to Arthur Christmas.
