The Rage: Carrie 2 (2018)

The Rage: Carrie 2 is a 2018 Horror Drama film that will be a sequel to the 2017 film remake, Carrie and will be a remake to the 1999 film of the same name but will have different characters and a different prank. The film stars Scout Taylor Compton, Alexys Nycole Sanchez, Nico Tortorella, Robin Wright, Amanda Peet, Claire Holt, Anna Kendrick, Darren Criss, Gerard Butler, Aimee Teegarden, Alex Pettyfer, Max Van Ville, Liam Hemsworth, Lily Collins, and Brenton Thwaites.

Plot

A local woman named Sue Snell who was a friend of Carrie White, a therapist in Chamberlein, Maine in 2018 and the sole survivor of the prom massacre that happened years ago. Sue gets interviewed by a detective to tell him the whole story about a local girl that Sue met while working as a therapist who is a shy teenage girl named Vivian Thompson who is often picked on by her female classmates and the sports team at school. One night, a group of teens breaks into her house when she just got out of the shower and started taking pictures of her nude and throwing bugs, filth, mud and worms at her. The teens ran away out of the house into the night. From that point on, Laura started getting scared about what if somebody tries to break in her house again but the good part is that, the Winter Snow Ball is coming up and the love her life who is popular, single and is the nicest guy in her school called Kevin. Kevin's wicked ex-girlfriend, Kate is the arch-enemy of Vivian and is the one that planned to take pictures of her nude and show it to everybody at the Winter Ball Dance. Kevin thinks that Vivian is a nice, passionate girl and that if she liked to go to the Winter Ball with him and she agreed on it. Vivian gets excited to go to the Winter Ball with Kevin but as soon as she finds out she'll be humiliated infront of all her peers, her telekinetic secret is revealed and Vivian's rage begins.

Cast

Scout Taylor Compton as Vivian Thompson - She is the daughter of Laura Thompson, the half-sister of Carrie White and the other daughter of Ralph White. Vivian is a young and loving teenager with a dark personality and has a hard time making friends in school since she was mostly mocked for the way she dresses and how she interested in different things then her peers. Vivian grew up in the town of Chamberlein with her religious, loving mother in a quiet suburban neighborhood where she attends a different school since the last high school was destroyed 25 years ago during the Senior Prom Massacre cause by her half-sister, Carrie White. Everyday after school, Vivian goes to a therapist named Susan Snell who helps her with her problems and struggles in school. Vivian is the arch-enemy of a rude, self-centered girl in her school called Kate Manson and develops a crush on Amy's ex-boyfriend, Kevin and wishes to marry him and have a family with Kevin. One night, Kate and her friends decide to play a prank on Vivian. Kate and her friends, sneak into Vivian's house in black ski masks and black clothing. Vivian was walking out of the showers when she was ambushed by several people who started throwing bugs, mud, worms, filth and other insects at her while taking pictures of her nude and covered with bugs. The teens ran out of the house and printed the pictures planning to show it at the upcoming Winter Snow Ball dance. From that point on, Vivian has started getting more harassed and mocked by her classmates and making her uncomfortable by putting bugs in her locker and in her lunch or whispering insulting things about Vivian. When they started picking on her more and Vivian was filled with anger, glass windows started to break and inanimate objects started moving myseryiously and that's when Vivan found out she develops telekinetic powers and that her therapist Sue tells her that she is related to Carrie White, the one that caused the 1993 Senior Prom Massacre. As soon as Kevin found out about this, he broke up with Amy and was tired of her controlling his life and doing wicked, insensitive things to Vivian. Kevin then develops a crush on Vivian and has the courage to ask her to the Winter Snow Ball dance and she agrees to go with him. From that point on, all her classmates pretended to encourage and be nice to her so she can watch her self be humiliated at the Winter dance. The night of the Winter Snow Ball dance and Vivian is dressed up in a beautiful white prom dress and Kevin is dressed in a light blue tuxedo. As soon when Vivian feels appreciated at the Ball, she finds out it was a prank and is completely humiliated when she finds the pictures of her nude and covered in bugs on the screen. Vivian is fully angered at everyone, even Kevin and she traps them in the ball and starts the Winter Ball Massacre. Vivian killed 167 people in the Winter Ball with her telekinetic powers.

Nico Tortorella as Kevin Marsh - He is the boyfriend of Vivian, ex-boyfriend of Kate and a survivor at the Winter Ball massacre. Kevin is a popular, up-going teen who attends a high school in Chamberlein, Maine since the last high school was destroyed 25 years ago at the Senior Prom massacre. Kevin has a very selfless, good-hearted and loyal personality as he compliments his female classmates good looks and shows good sportsmanship to his teammates and the other team when ever they are about to play a football game. Kevin was dating a popular, spoiled teenage girl in his school named Kate Manson but left her. The reason he left Kate is because she is very rude and insensitive towards Vivian just because she is not popular and pretty like she is. Kevin then develops a crush on Vivian and builds up the courage to ask her to the Wimter Snow Ball dance and she agreed with it. He has a very kind personality and his dream is to play for the New England Patriots and become a famous athlete. The night of the Winter Snow Ball dance, Kevin is dressed in a light blue tuxedo and Vivian was in a beautiful white prom dress. During the ball when Vivian is humiliated infront of all the teachers and students, she uses her telekinetic powers for revenge and eventually kills 167 people in the ball and starts the Winter Snow Ball massacre. A week later, Kevin survives the massacre along with 65 other people at the ball and was interviewed by Det. Franklin for any information about the massacre. Kevin and Vivian gave each other love necklaces to show that they are truly in love.

Robin Wright as Sue Snell - She was the best friend of Carrie White and thesole survivor of Prom massacre that happened 25 years ago in 1993. Sue is a 42 year old woman who was the only person that looked out for Rachel's half sister, Carrie White who was bullied for not being like the other girls. Now Sue is a local therapist in Chamberlein, Majne where she helps teenagers that have problems with school, at home or with family. Sue has a patient named Vivian who secretly develops telekinetic powers like Carrie. Later Sue finds out that Carrie and Vivian same father and both secretly develop telekinetic powers and she heard all about this from Vivian's mother. Sue has written a novel about the prom massacre that happened 25 years ago and another novel about bullying because she thanks someone will react the same way Carrie White did after Sue's former friend Chris Hargensen did a severe prank on Carrie White during prom. All that Sue wants to do is help people getting bullied the same way Carrie did. Ever since the prom disaster, Sue has been having nightmares and illusions about Carrie White and has learned that she develops telekinesis and that's why se is keeping a close eye out on Vivian. Later Sue was one out of 65 people that survived the Winter Snow Ball dance massacre and was interviewed by Det. Franklin a week later for information about the massacre and who caused it.

Amanda Peet as Lauara Thompson - She is the mother of Vivian Thompson and the second ex-wife of Ralph White. Laura is a 45 year old woman who works as a librarian at a local library in Chamberein, Maine. Ever since Laura gave birth to Vivian and Ralph died, she has been seeing things and saying that something will happen to her daughter one day like she'll die or get hurt and she wont let that happen. Laura is the total opposite of Margaret White because she treats her telekinetic daughter like a daughter instead of abusing her daughter and Laura wants Vivian to see the worl even though Barbara and Laura still have strong religious beliefs in Jesus. Lauara was pregnant in 1995 two years after the Prom massacre with Ralph's second daughter who they later named Vivian, Ralph then died from drinking to much alcohol and crashing into a lake. A week after when her daughter died in the Winter Snow Ball dance massacre, she gets interviewed by Det. Franklin for information about her daughter and how she caused the massacre.

Clarie Holt as Kate Manson - She is Vivian's arch-enemy and the ex-girlfriend of Kevin. Tracy is an stingy, rich, snobbish, selfish, and spoiled teenager who is equivalent to Chris Hargensen because they are ungrateful rich teenagers who are leaders of popular girls and bully unpopular students. Tracy was formally Kevin's girlfriend but ever since he started hanging around Vivian, Jesse said that they should see other people because Rachel is more nicer and more beautiful then Kate then Kate gets super jealous and starts flirting with other guys just to make Jesse jealous. Kate pulls a prank for stealing Kate away from her. One night Kate and her friends break into Vivian's house in ski masks and black clothing taking pictures of Vivian nude and throwing insects at her and will plan to show it at the upcoming Winter Snow Ball dance to humiliate Vivian. Kate is much more evil and selfish then Chris towards Vivian. Kate says rude things to Vivian like unattractive, ass-wipe, or ugly bitch, she also physically abuses her like tripping, shoving, or punching, and when Vivian is dating Kevin, she flirted with him just to tease Vivian and thank that Kevin was cheating on her but it hasn't effected her. Then Kate finds out that Vivian and Kevin are going to the dance together and think it will be perfect for Vivian to see her humiliation. Kate is now dating Mark as they are both evil, wicked and self-centered teenagers who despise Vivian When Vivian witnesses her own humiliation at the night of the Winter Snow Ball dance, Kate along with all her friends, teachers and classmates were killed in the Winter Ball massacre.

Anna Kendrick as Amy Morgan - She is the best friend of Kate, the girlfriend of Derek and the equivalent to Norma Watson. Amy is a bitchy, popular tomboyish girl who is best friends with Kate and is another enemy of Vivian. Amy is a female bitchy teenage girl who cares about no one but her and the popular girls. Monica is equivalent to Norma Watson because they are both self described a spoiled princess and is best friends with a mean and manipulative girl who participates into bullying an unpopular high school student who develops telekinetic powers. Amy was one of the teens that was taking pictures of Vivian nude and covered with insects. When Vivian starts dating Kevin, Amy starts pretending to be nice so she can invite Rachel to the party and see her get humiliated by showing the picturss of Vivian nude and covered with insects and she later ends up a victim at the Winter Snow Ball dance massacre. Monica is easily manipulated by Tracy to get whatever she wants and is known as her "second in command" and is also into pranking and taunting all the other kids in her neighborhood.

Darren Criss as Mark Travis - He is the arch-enemy and teammate of Jesse. Mark is a evil, rich, and arrogant high school student who is equivalent to Billy Nolan because they both are insensitive, abusive, and non-fun spirited teenagers who help and are dating a spoiled teenage girl get whatever she wants. Mark is an evil high school quarterback who like most popular students bullies the unpopular students just because they aren't tough and admired like them. Mark is the inventor of the sex game and doesn't care how much it breaks girls hearts. Mark also calls Rachel names like slut, skank, and dick-head just because she was Lisa's best friend and teasing her about her best friend's death and Rachel hates that but karma strikes Mark when he is a victim of the party massacre. Mark and Kevin are enemy's because Mark doesn't know the kind side of Rachel he just "judges a book by it's cover" and Jesse loves her and knows Rachel's kind side. Mark takes his problems out on Rachel so he can feel better about himself. He becomes the new boyfriend of Kate Manson and a victim of the Winter Snow Ball dance massacre.

Gerard Butler as Detective Evan Franklin - Detective Evan Franklin is a local detective from Chamberlain, Maine who interviews anyone that survived and got involved with the deaths at the high school party massacre 25 years ago and the Winter Ball massacre that happened a week ago. Det. Franklin tries to get answers about what could have happened that caused the house party massacre, and mainly interviews Jesse since he is one of of the known and one of the sole survivor of the party disaster along with Arnold. Det. Franklin is very snarky and uses manipulative tactics in order to get answers from people like Kevin, Laura, Nolan and Sue who are the only survivors of the house party massacre, but he is nonetheless a fair and decent cop who only wants to help out his community.

Aimee Teegarden as Cheryl Anderson - She is another friend of Kate Manson, the girlfriend of Brandon, a victim of the Winter Ball massacre. Cheryl is one of Rachel's bullies who peer pressures all the other girls to follow Tracy around so she can get what ever Kate wants and make everybody obey her demands. Cheryl is very similar to Cheryl as they both pretend to be friendly towards Rachel but just use her so she can get humiliated during the Winter Snow Ball dance. Like most of the other popular girls, she is very wicked and evil to all the unpopular girls but mainly Rachel Lang. She got involved of taking pictures of Vivian nude while covered in insects and can't wait to see it at the Winter Ball. She is the equivalence of Tina Blake because they bullied the main characters, both were nice to the main characters in the future but they both fall victim of the Winter Snow Ball dance massacre. She has a very high I.Q., but often puts it to little use and instead uses her intelligence and clever skills for evil purposes and to harass and intimidate her classmates for childish fun rather than reaching her full potential. Chris is dangerously rebellious, unfazed by authority figures and manipulative, able to convince and control the people around her, whether it's her boyfriend or her father, to do whatever she wants or demands to get done.

Alex Pettyfer as Derek Holt - He is a local high school jock who was best friends with Kevin Marsh, the boyfriend of Amy Morgan, and a victim of Winter Snow Ball dance massacre. Derek formally has sexual interocurse with nearly all his female classmates and then he dumps because he only uss teenage girls for sexual role-play and to rob them of their virginity. Derek is equivalent to Jackie Talbot because they are both rude and insensitive teenagers who pretend to be nice to the unpopular kids but use them for a prank and it turns into a very bad problem. He acted like to be Vivian's just to watch her be humiliated at the Winter Ball. Derek is one of the people that throws filthy insects and bugs on Vivian while the others take pictures of her. Later Derek and Amy worked together to post the pictures of Vivian on the big screen at Winter Ball. Him along with his friends were later killed at the Winter Snow Ball dance massacre.

Max Van Ville as Brandon Jones - He is the boyfriend of Cheryl Anderson and the best friend of Mark Tracus. Brandin is a rude and mean football player who is a particiaptes in the evil plan him and his buddies are planning to take pictures of Vivian nude and throwing bugs on her and show it to every at the Winter Snow Ball dance. He is equivalent combo of Billy Nolan and Jackie Talbot as they all are close friends with manipulative teenagers who participates into humiliating a classmate in a awful and evil prank. Brandon is like a brother to Mark because they both have a lot in common. He enjoys taunting, patronizing and humiliating Vivian and is easily manipulated by the popular girls to do their bidding and get them whatever they want like bullying the unpopular teens, mainly Vivian Thompson and Nolan Hughes. He is the one of the teens that takes pictures of Vivian nude and covered in filthy insects and bugs. Later when he showed them at the Winter Ball and Vivian was humiliated, she used her telekinetic powers for revenge and Brandon was a victim at the Winter Snow Ball dance massacre.

Liam Hemsworth as Jeremy Thomas - Jeremy is a football player, the boyfriend of Crystal Cooper and who takes part of the prank to humiliate Vivian at the Winter Ball. Jeremy is a local teenage football player who is part of the evil sex game that him and his football team friends play and he enjoys playing it even if it breaks teenage girls hearts and sometimes Jeremy is described as a womanizer but he vowed to stay loyal towards his girlfriends. He is one of the ones to take pictures of Vivian nude and covered with bugs and filthy insects and him and his friends will show it at the Winter Ball to humiliate Vivian. Later when Vivian is humiliated from the pictures, she uses her telekinetic powers to get revenge and Jeremy is a victim of the Winter Snow Ball dance massacre. He is another of Kevin's enemies because Jeremy is on Mark's side about Vivian and he treats woman like dirt. Jeremy is the equivalent of Kenny Garson because they both are male bullies of the main character who loves mocking and bullying the main character but they both fall victim of the massacre.

Lily Collins as Crystal Cooper - She is another friend of Kate Manson, the girlfriend of Jeremy Thomas, a victim of the Winter Snow Ball dance massacre. Crystal is one of Vivian's bullies who peer pressures all the other girls to follow Tracy around so she can get what ever Tracy wants and make everybody obey her demands. Crystal is very similar to Amy as they both pretend to be friendly towards Vivian but just use her so she can get humiliated during the high school party. Like most of the other popular girls, she is very wicked and evil to all the unpopular girls but mainly Vivian Thompson. She is one of the ones to throw filthy insects and bugs on Vivian while the others took pictures of her nude and we're going to show it at the Winter Snow Ball dance but Crystal was later a victim at the massacre. She is the equivalence of Tina Blake and Norma Watson because they bullied the main characters, both were nice to the main characters in the future but they both fall victim of the massacre.

Brenton Thwaites as Nolan Hughes - Nolan is a close friend of Vivian Thompson and Kevin Marsh and a survivor of the Winter Snow Ball dance massacre. Nolan is a nerdy jock who doesn't like the other football players because of their tyrannical, insensitive attitude towards the all the girls in the school because of the other jocks are just being arrogant, greedy and know-it-all jerks towards him and the other girls. Nolan loves playing sports like football or soccer but he is also interested in mathematics and physic industry. Arnold was the photogropher at the Winter Snow Ball dance but when the dance turns into a massacre but Nolan along with 65 other people survived the Winter Ball massacre and managed to escape. He is one of the people that get interviewed by Det. Franklin about some information about the massacre and he knows a lot about Vivian and seems to have a major crush on her.

Deaths

Cheryl Anderson - After Vivian noticed the embarrassing pictures of her nude and covered in bugs on the screen, all the popular kids started surronding her and the girls shoving her to the ground and calling her a "whore" and the jocks started spitting on her. Vivian then stood up with anger in her eyes and the Winter Ball started shaking. Vivian then used her telekinetic powers to cause a huge shockwave and knock everyone in the ball to the ground. Everybody ran to the doors and Vivian used her telekinetic powers to slam the doors shut. Vivian noticed Cheryl running across the Ball trying to find a way out and used her telekinetic powers to slam her onto the screen and fall onto the stage and she slowly died from major blood loss. Later Vivian used her telekinetic powers to throw a basketball scoreboard across the Ball and crush Cheryl's corpse along with several other people in the ball.

Crystal Cooper - Vivian noticed Crystal crying in fear and running as fast as she could planning to find a door and find away to escape from the massacre with Jeremy and Crystal kept yelling and crying across the ball screaming for help. Vivian then used her telekinetic powers to turn on the water sprinklers on the roof to slow down everybody in the ball. Vivian then used her telekinetic powers to make electric wires and the disco ball slam into the ground and cause a huge major fire across the ball. Vivian then used her telekinetic powers to pick up a burning table and throw it at Jeremy and Crystal. Jeremy saw the table and dodged it but Crystal got slammed to death by the table and started burning and bleeding out. Later Crystal's body was crushed by a burning roof beam.

Jeremy Thomas - After watching his girlfriend, Crystal get killed by Vivian's telekinetic powers, Jeremy threw a chair through a nearby window and ran to his car planning to escape the Winter Ball massacre and leave his friends behind in the ball. Vivian saw Jeremy trying to escape through a nearby window and she used her telekinetic powers to make his car not work and Jeremy tried to make it go but Vivian's powers were to strong. Then Vivian noticed an electric pole close by Jeremy's car, she then used her telekinetic powers to make an electric pole slam onto Jeremy's car while Jeremy was still insise and then the car exploded into flames brutally burning and electrocuting Jeremy.

Amy Morgan - Amy runs across the wet and burning floorboards trying to escape the Winter Ball massacre. She manages to squeez herself through a door so her and her friends could escape from the Ball massacre. Vivian then notices Amy trying to escape from the Winter Ball. Vivian then uses her telekinetic powers to tightly close the two metal doors against Amy's chest and stomach and the doors brutally crush Amy between the two doors. Kenny slowly attempts to pull himself through the outside of the doors before the two metal doors split Amy in half. The bottom and top half of Amy's corpse was later caught in the fire and slowly burnt to ashes. Later she along with other people inside the Ball were crushed to death after the school flattened to the ground.

Brandon Jones - Brandon jumps and grabs onto a gym rope and climbs to the top of the rope in order to reach the windows, but he is too far away from the windows. Vivian then uses her telekinetic powers to explode a gasoline pipe in the gym and sends wires falling from the ceiling and onto the floor, and the two compounds create an electric shock across the floorboards. While Brandon climbs higher up the rope, he accidentally lets go of the rope and falls down onto the floor where the gasoline and wires electrocute and brutally burn Brandon while he is lying on the floor. His corpse is later burnt to death in the fire and crushed by a burning roof beam which brutally crushed and burned Brandon's bloody corpse. Him along with the other people in the Ball were crushed when the school flattened to the ground.

Derek Holt - As Derek was running across the prom with 10 of his peers, he noticed the bleachers and had a plan to escape. Derek managed run up towards the bleacher and George was planning to open the bleachers and was run up the bleachers and climb through the window and escape the prom disaster with several other people. Carrie noticed George running up the bleachers and used her telekinetic powers to close the bleachers while George and several other people were still running causing them fall off the bleachers and onto the burning floorboards and George landed on a table breaking his neck and killing Derek and was later caught in the fire and he was brutally burnt to death.

Mark Travis - Mark saw Kate crying in a corner and he managed to save her by grabbing her hand and telling her to run so they can find a way out of the Winter Ball massacre. Vivian then noticed Kate and Mark running across the Ball trying to escape the massacre. She used her telekinetic powers to pick up a fire hose and spray it onto Mark, Kate and the floorboards until they slipped to the ground. Mark then slipped and his leg bone bursted through his skin making blood spread across the floor. Vivian watched as Mark was in complete, severe pain and used her telekinetic powers to pick up electric wires and throw them on the wet floorboards brutally electrouting Mark along with 30 other people inside the Winter Ball.

Kate Manson - After witnessing her boyfriend's death, Kate managed to continue run across the Winter Ball trying to find a way out and then Vivian saw her running towards the door along with several other people. Vivian used her telekinetic powers to make a light fall to the ground to crush and kill Kate but then she dodged it and the light killed, crushed and burned several other people inside the Winter Ball. Kate then saw a gym rope and managed to climb up it to make it to an open window and escape the ball. Vivian used her telekinetic powers to make gasoline pipes spray onto Kate's dress and hair which started slowing her down but she continued to climb up the rope. Kate made it to the window and threw both of her high heels through the window in order to escape the prom. Kate jumped through the window and landed in the grass and one of her arms was broken. Vivian used her telekinetic powers to cause a shockwave towards Kate and the shockwave made Kate slam hard onto a tree and made her bleed out.

Vivian Thompson - After Kate was killed by Vivian's telekinetic powers, Vivian turned on the water sensors and slowly walked up to Kevin planning to kill him because she though he was part of the prank. Kevin was trying to tell her to stop, but then Vivian used her telekinetic powers to pick up Kevin by the neck. Kevin then showed her the necklace he gave her, Vivian finally trusted him and told him that they have to get out of house before the get killed. Then a roof beam slammed to the ground causing the door to get blocked. Then Vivian told Levin to go on without her but Kevin refused to do it. Then Vivian picked Jesse up with her telekinetic powers and threw him through a window which made Kevin fall to the ground where he watched many of his peers running out of the house and into the road. Then a roof beam fell onto Vivian. Then Vivian was sobbing and yelling in pain as she watched many other people in the Ball slowly dying. Then Vivian looked up at the roof and roof beams started falling to the ground crushing Vivian's body killing her and other people inside the Ball. Then later the whole school flattened to the ground killing Rachel while Jesse watched the house flatten.
