The Pink Flight is a 1937 American animated short film from the Color Symphonies series, released by Selznick International Pictures.
Plot[]
The cartoon opens with a bunch of pink birds flying towards a beach, presumably the Pinkest Beach in the World. One bird approaches a helicopter, which resembles a civilian air ambulance, saying, "Something's wrong with one of the chicks!" He signals the helicopter to fly down, and both birds alight on the beach, apparently near a set of stairs leading to a castle. One of the pink birds approaches a police officer, who is reading a newspaper.
As the bird approaches the officer, she notices something pink, like a pink guitar. The bird introduces himself as Robert Samson. He introduces a young woman to the officer. She tells him that her name is Denise and that she's lost, and they should leave. As Samson and Denise are walking along, Denise keeps going on about how she's losing because of the stairs. Samson then decides that the stairs must be pink. As the two get close to the stairs, the officer draws her gun and cocks it, preparing to shoot them. However, before she can pull the trigger, Denise makes a run for it and climbs the stairs, which are revealed to be pink. A shot is heard as Samson and Denise head down the stairs, with the Pinkest Beach in the World in the background.
