The Phoenix Defenders

• Marina and Saya are the only members of the team to have royal blood. Marina's deceased mother is the younger sister of Queen Mera and is related to Aquaman by marriage. Saya's ancestors from her father's side had originally came from a branch of the Japanese royal family who moved into the United States where they would later changed their surname to and became one of the most influential rich families in the world. Saya is distantly related to Samurai Jack as she is shown to have inherited his katana(a tradition that has been passed down by the royal family for generation due to some members of the family believing Aku is still alive and will finish him off if he ever reappears).
• Sera, Flint, Tora, and Berna are the only members of the team to have dark backstories.
• If Saya and Hermione enter an eating contest, they would most likely matched with each other.
• Lyn and Berna are distantly related to and are the goddaughters of Bruce Wayne (Batman).

Lyn Manchester

• When Lyn was younger, she would used to run around wearing nothing but underwear and a cape and pretended to be superhero. It is the only childhood memory that Lyn truly regret doing and is physically and mentally embarrassed by it.
• Lyn's favorite food are bananas and chili fries.
• Lyn enjoys the smell of fresh bananas.
• Lyn's favorite rock band is Fall Out Boy.
• Lyn sometimes borrow Rex's jacket and goggles as part of her normal day attire.

• Even though Berna deeply cared about her older sister, she had always felt as if she is living in Lyn's shadow and has always express strong jealousy and hatred towards Lyn ever since they were kids.
• Berna is inspired by Historia Reiss (Attack on Titan) and Meg Griffin (Family Guy).
• According to the creator of the series, Berna is described as "a young girl who despite her insecureness and self consciousness, is trying to defend what she believes in and is always willing to try something to make things right ".
• Berna is 15 years old.
• Berna is bisexual.

Aeolus Rowan

• Aeolus is Canadian American.
• Aeolus is inspired by Reiner Braun (Attack on Titan).
• Aeolus is described as "a young boy who is able to earn the trust of his friends and teammates".

Skye Rowan

• Skye is Canadian American.
• Skye is inspired by Katie "Pidge" Holt (Voltron Legendary Defender), Petra Ral (Attack on Titan) and Haruhi Fujioka(Ouran Highschool Host Club).
• Skye's favorite food are pancakes and bacon with maple syrup.
• Skye is described as "a warm hearted Canadian who practically gets along with almost everybody and is looked up to as 'the mother of the team"
• Skye is 17 years old.
• Skye is biologically female but strongly believes their gender isn't important.
• Skye is nonbinary and pansexual.
• Skye's favorite hobby is skateboarding.

Sam Rowan

• Sam is Canadian American.
• Sam is inspired by Hange Zoe (Attack on Titan).
• Sama is insomniac.
• Sam is described as "a wacky scientist type of parent".
• Sam had Skye and Aeolus with two different men back in Canada. Sam had Skye with a man who ditched her after three months and later had Aeolus with a man who, unfortunately, ditched Sam for a random woman when Aeolus was only three years old.
• Like Skye, Sam is nonbinary but is only referred by name. Sam is also bisexual as Sam had dated both men and women.

Hana

• Hana is inspired by Moblit Berner (Attack on Titan).
• Hana has been close friends with Sam ever since they were toddlers.
• Hana is bisexual.

Saya Sato

• Saya is inspired by Connie Springer (Attack on Titan) and Kid Flash (DC Comics).
• Saya is partly Korean-Japanese from her mother but is also partly Japanese from her father.
• Saya is 16 years old.
• Saya is Japanese, meaning "swift arrow".
• Saya has two older brothers who lives with Saya's mother in Austin, Texas.
• Saya is a huge fan of J-Pop and her favorite J-Pop band are Puffy AmiYumi

Devanie Black

• Devanie is inspired by Raven (Teen Titans) and Mikasa Ackerman (Attack on Titan).
• Devanie is 16 years old.
• Devanie's favorite food is blood sausages.

Mallory Black

• Despite dating Apollo, she still doesn't understand why she is in love with him in the first place.
• Mallory is inspired by Jinx (Teen Titans) and Annie Leonhart (Attack on Titan).
• Mallory has a habit of sleep walking.
• Mallory is 14 years old.

Marina Williams

• Marina is inspired by Bumblebee (Teen Titans) and Aqualad (DC Comics).
• Marina is 18 years old.

Tora Neal

• According to the creator of the series, Tora is described as a someone "who uses her emotions to shield herself away from the deep dark secrets of her past".
• Due to her past, Tora has suffered PTSD, Claustrophobia (the fear of being in a small space)and Aerophobia (the fear of being on an airplane).
• Tora is 16 years old.

• Crispin is inspired by Bertholdt Hoover (Attack on Titan).
