The Nightmare is a 2013 science fiction thriller film written, co-produced and directed by M. Night Shyamalan. This film stars Matt Damon, Hayden Panettiere and Michael Sheen. This film that follows a rising politician (Matt Damon) have a nightmare then try escaped from his nightmare when he was haunted by a dark figure (Michael Sheen) in his nightmare and some people was killed by dark figure when they have a nightmare but people think they dies for the sleep. His ex-girlfriend (Hayden Panettiere) worried and she go to his nightmare to find him. Then she found out she was haunted too.
Summary
Plot
The movie open with Nancy Robinson (Lindsay Lohan), the sister of Louise Robinson (Hayden Panettiere), has blood on her hands and run away from Mr Nightmare, (Michael Sheen), A dark figure. Nancy write to somebody who be here and say "I am Nancy Robinson, I in my nightmare. I write in blood on my hand, Is somebody find the notes, I am be dead or alive, I was haunted by a dark figure and his black ghost." Nancy saw Mr Nightmare's black ghosts. Black ghosts chase Nancy. Nancy close the door. Nancy put her head in the rope. Mr Nightmare let his power to kill Nancy, before Nancy killed, Nancy scream so loud then black screen.
The next day after Nancy was killed in her nightmare, Frank Strode (Matt Damon) arrives at work and saw his boss and campaign manager, Eliot Robinson (Bill Paxton) in TV, are talk about Nancy's death.

Mr Nightmare did not die, he is still alive. When Mr Nightmare try kill Louise in top of the hotel. Shaun stop Mr Nightmare to kill Louise. Frank say last word to Mr Nightmare is "You never be in nightmare again". A light make Mr Nightmare disappears after Frank said. Rebecca Flynn, Elliot Robinson and Dwight Lewis did not have a nightmare only Frank, Louise and Natasha have a nightmare. Frank and Louise have alive and Natasha was killed by explosion in her room in hotel that Louise nearly dies of the explosion and a black ghost who is help Mr Nightmare look for Frank and Louise was inside her body to try kill her.
