( We fade from a black screen to a house that sits in between two houses in the middle of a wooded area with a dirt road. It is night time at the same time and a piercing scream breaks the silence. We cut to inside a bedroom filled with 11 teenagers who are no more than 17 or 18 years of age who are watching the 1989 film, Batman. The scream came from the movie as the kids watch on in excitement. The names of the kids are Tristen Moore, Hannah Levitz, Hali Bowden, Demetrious Michaud, Brent Holmes, Colin Horton, Erika Sillon, Shaughnessey Gower, Cassie Chevalier, Jacob Bradshaw and Kelan Menter.)
Kelan: I feel bad for them getting mugged by that guy.
Tristen: You know guys, Thank you for making me watch something besides horror films. You guy are the best friends a boy ever had.
Demetrious: No problem. What time is it? It's gotta be midnight already.
Tristen: (checking his phone and it says 11:30pm) It's almost midnight AND past my curfew.
Hannah: You are right. We got to get some sleep, you guys.
Cassie: Really?! The night is still young, lets pull an all-nighter!!
Colin: No, Cassie. Tristen is right and we don't want to be sleep-deprived in the morning.
Cassie: Okay, you win Colin. Hey guys, want to turn in?
(she finds Hali, Jacob, Shaughnessey, Brent and Erika have fallen asleep behind her, she then shrugs her shoulders.)
Cassie: Alrighty, then. Let's turn in.
Demetrious: My thoughts exactly.
(We cut to some time later to the kids already asleep on the bed and the movie is still playing on the tv. The movie is at the part where Carl Grissom sets up second in command Jack Napier up at Axis Chemicals. As the part plays, a sleeping Demetrious drools on the remote which causes it to shake violently and a reflex from Tristen presses the power button. As a result, the tv shuts off and a flash of blinding light blasts out of the tv toward the dozing kids and hits them. After a moment, the flash recedes and the kids are nowhere to be seen. We cut to the clip from the movie Batman taken place at Axis Chemicals but a flash of light explodes in front of us to reveal Tristen and his friends still asleep oblivious to their location.)
Tristen: (wakes up and discovers where he is) Where are we? I don't like this. (looks at Demetrious and tries to shake him awake) Demetriouis, wake up. DEMETRIOUS!!!!
Demetrious: (jerks awake due to Tristen's outside voice) What the hell, Trist? What was that all about? (looks around in confusion) Where the hell are we?
Tristen: (in a worried tone) I don't know and i don't like it. We got to wake the others.
Demetrious: (Yells with all of his might) WAKE UP!!!
(everyone stirs awake)
Cassie: (tired and groggy) What is this, wake up call? What is this place?
(as everybody regains composure, Hali sees a figure swooping above the catwalk and gets creeped out instantly.)
Hali: Guy, i think i see someone.
Colin: (sounding confused) Who did you see, Hali?
Jacob: (looks around at the steaming vats of chemicals) I have a feeling we're not in Maine anymore.
Voice: (offscreen) You're damn right you aren't.
(The kids dart their eyes at Jack Napier stalking down the stairs with gun raised toward them)
Jack: You're in Gotham City, kiddies. Put your hands in the air or i'll shoot.
Brent: (as everyone does so with horrified ease) DON'T SHOOT, WE'RE JUST KIDS!!!
Jack: SHUT YOUR TRAP, ANDRE THE GIANT!!!!
Cassie: (with tears streaming down her face) What is this place and what are you gonna do to us?!
Jack: This is Axis Chemical and i'm killing you all if you kids try to escape.
Demetrious: The police will cap your sorry ass if they get here.
Jack: (whips out an axe and smashes it into a nearby vat of chemicals and leaves it there) They won't be here in time, smarty.
Commissioner Gordon: (enters the building with backup) We already are, Napier. You are under arrest. Kids, find the nearest exit and get out of here immediately.
Hannah: (teary and terrified) That's probably not a bad idea.
Jack: I'm afraid not, you little brats!!! (he grips the axe's handle, intending to release the chemicals)
Shaughnessey: (fearing he will release the chemicals to prevent any escape) RUUUUN!!!!!!
(The kids run for safety towards the stairs but Jack rips the axe out of the vat which releases the chemicals and sprays Demetrious with great force)
Tristen: (seeing Demetrious get seemingly killed) DEMETRIOUS, NOOOOOOO!
Cassie: TRISTEN COME ON. RUN FOR IT!!
(The kids make it to the catwalk where bullets rip through the air narrowly missing them but on bullet hits another vat right next to Tristen which releases a hodge podge of chemicals upon him, engulfing him in chemicals)
Hannah: (in a hysterical trance) TRISTEN, NOOOOO! DON'T LEAVE MEE!
Erika: Come on, Hannah. There's nothing we can do for him now!
(At each turn, more bullets rip through the air like rockets and a bat shaped shadow casts over the remaining kids)
Cassie: (looks up and sees Batman swooping overhead) Guys, Batman is here! We're saved.
(As Cassie takes in a moment of relief, another vat bursts open by another bullet which drowns her in chemicals)
Kelan: OH MY GOD, CASSIE! Lets hide you guys!
(As the shootout ensues, Jack tries to escape but runs into Batman who grabs him by the neck and lifts him of the ground)
Jack: JESUS!
Voice: (gets Batman's attention) Let him go or Gordon bites it here.
(The voice turns out to be Jack's number one goon, Bob. Batman slowly lifts Jack back down to the ground and Jack looks down to Gordon. We cut to the kids hiding under yet another vat in fear)
Colin: We're all gonna die.
Brent: Let's stay calm. Let's find a way to escape without being sprayed by the chemicals.
Hannah: (crying up a storm) Stop smoothing things over, Brent! Tristen, Cassie and Demetrious are dead and we're STAYING CALM?! THAT'S FRIGGING CONVENIENT!!
Erika: Get it together, Hannah! We're still alive and we'll find an exit eventually.
Jacob: Shut up, you guys. Someone is under us.
(Corrupt Lieutenant Max Eckhart accidently pulls the trigger and nearly hits Kelan in the face as the bullet goes upward and hits the faulty bottom of the vat)
Kelan: (mere seconds before the bottom gives way) Oh, hell.
(We cut back to Jack going to face Batman but turns the find Batman has disappeared. As a puzzled Jack registers this, the agonized screams of the remaining kids echo throughout the factory as the chemicals hit them offscreen)
Bob: (shouting to Jack, drowning out the screams) COME ON JACK, LETS GO!!!
(after the screams die down, Eckhart appears and tries to leave)
Jack: (turns his attention to Eckhart and aims the gun at him as he turns around) Eckhart, think about the future. (He then shoots Eckhart dead)
(after killing Eckhart, Batman suddenly appears only a few feet away next to Jack as he takes a few steps back. Jack spots Batman and shoots him but Batman's armor deflects the bullet into Jack's face, causing him to tumble over the railing of catwalk where Batman catches him in the nick of time. After a few moments, Batman suddenly lets Jack fall to his death but the latter falls into another chemical vat, seemingly killing him)
Commissioner Gordon: (furious and disappointed by what he just witnessed) Goddamn it, we had him! (looks up to see Batman on the catwalk where Jack fell) HOLD IT RIGHT THERE!!!
(realizing that he is cornered by cops, Batman use a smoke bomb to escape as he disappears)
Gordon's Assistant: (as Batman escapes) Who is this guy?
Commissioner Gordon: I don't know. Until we find out, keep a lid on it.
(The police then leave the factory as we pan away to the spot where Demetrious was sprayed by the chemicals only to find a large bulbous cocoon in his place. The cocoon is tan colored with blue and purple veins all over it. A montage begins as three other cocoons are shown in certain spots where Tristen, Cassie, and the rest of the their friends were sprayed by the chemicals. As we focus on the second cocoon as it starts to shake, we cut to murky wastewater with a few playing cards floating to the surface and a deathly white hand slowly rises from the depths. We cut back to the second cocoon as a human hand suddenly bursts through it. The hand clutches for air as ANOTHER hand breaks through the cocoon. When the arms lurch forward, a person emerges from the cocoon, naked, weary, disoriented and covered in scarlet colored slime. The person turns out to be Tristen as he falls toward the railing. As Tristen is gasping for air, he turns to see the cocoon but his vision is too blurry)
Tristen: (in a gruff and hoarse voice) What is going on? (unable to take the shock, he passes out on the catwalk)
(at the same time, the other two cocoons hatch with Cassie falling through hers in the same condition as Tristen. She lies on her stomach motionless with her head turned to the left with wide eyes in a similar fashion as Meg's corpse from the 1983 horror film, Sleepaway Camp. The third cocoon hatches to reveal the rest of the kids in the same condition as Tristen and Cassie and they fall in a heap on the floor unconscious. The final cocoon hatches to reveal Demetrious in the same condition as his friends. With some ounce of his strength left, he tries to crawl to the nearest exit but a shadow of a hulking figure casts over his naked slime covered body. Demetrious looks to see the figure is Batman but his vision is also blurry)
Demetrious: (in a faint and gruff voice) What in the name of... (before he can finish, he passes out as we slowly fade to black)
(We slowly fade back in to a blurry vision of a man staring at the camera and with each second the vision gets clear to see the man is none other than Bruce Wayne)
Bruce Wayne: (looking concerned) Are you alright, young man?
(The blurry fade in belongs to a person's POV and we cut to Tristen, fully clothed, clean, weary and sickly looking as he wakes up)
Tristen: (in a tired voice) Who are you? Where am i?
Bruce Wayne: You're at Wayne Manor. How are you feeling?
(we pan our to a view of a spacious living room with Tristen laying on a couch wearing a dark blue long sleeve and black sweatpants)
Tristen: Just a little dizzy but i'm o.k.
Bruce Wayne: What were you kids doing at Axis Chemicals? Jack Napier could've killed you guys.
Tristen: (sits up and rubs his face) My friends and i were watching a movie about Batman but it was almost midnight when we called it a night. When we woke up, we found ourselves at that place you mentioned when this Jack whatshisface held us hostage until the cops came and started a shootout. When we tried to get out alive, a couple of chemical vats were destroyed by bullets and we were sprayed by those chemicals. When i came to, i found myself looming over the catwalk breathing heavily and i saw this weird object behind me and i blacked out. That doesn't matter now that my friends are dead.
Bruce Wayne: (in a stern but reassuring voice) Hey, your friends aren't dead. They are here and were resting all night. They're just fine.
Tristen: (surprised) They're alive? What time is it?
Bruce Wayne: It's morning now. Who do you want to see first?
Tristen: I want to see my girlfriend first but who are you?
Bruce Wayne: My name is Bruce Wayne. What's yours?
Tristen: (shocked by his name and his realization that he and his friends are transported into the movie) It's Tristen Moore.
Bruce Wayne: Nice to meet you. I'll show you where she is.
(we cut to a hallway with dozens of bedrooms and Bruce and Tristen are standing by a door at the end of the hall on the right)
Bruce: These rooms contain your friends who are resting from last night. You kids were lucky to be alive.
Tristen: We were not lucky at first but we made it.
Bruce: Make your visits short because you need a shower and breakfast.
Tristen: Yes sir. (He enters Hannah's room and finds her waking up sporting a baby blue tank top and short green pj bottom)
Hannah: (sees Tristen enter the room) Tristen, you're alive! (she runs to him and embraces him tightly but feels uncomfortable as she notices his torso feels hard) Whoa, did you work out or something?
Tristen: Well good morning to you too. How do you feel?
Hannah: For starters, i feel weird and my glasses don't work. When i put them on, my vision is blurry.
Tristen: That's weird. We are inside the movie "Batman", Hannah!
Hannah: (worried) How do we get out?
Tristen: Don't think about that now. Bruce Wayne found us at Axis Chemicals and brought all of us here.
Hannah: That's nice of him.
Tristen: I want you to get some rest and later on we'll eat breakfast.
Hannah: O.k., see you later. (she kisses Tristen long and hard)
Tristen: Bye, Hannah. (He then leaves her room and goes to another room from across her room)
(Tristen enters the room to see Demetrious lying on his bed sporting a black sweatshirt and pajama pants and looking sickly, sweaty and unwell. He stirs awake to see Tristen approaching him)
Demetrious: (groans as he sits up) Tristen, good morning. Where are we?
Tristen: We are at Wayne Manor. How are you feeling?
Demetrious: I feel a little gross and sweaty but i'm alright. How are you?
Tristen: I'm a little dizzy but i'm o.k.
Demetrious: What happened last night? Last night, i woke up from being sprayed by those chemicals and i was crawling to find away out but the Batman was towering over me for the kill and i blacked out.
Tristen: Same here. But i saw a weird object behind me before i passed out. I'll tell you all about it during breakfast. Are you in the mood for it?
Demetrious: Kind of.
Tristen: Just get some rest.
Demetrious: Ok. See ya.
Tristen: See you later, man. (he then leaves the room)
(We the cut to Tristen in the shower from the waist up but his torso is in fact muscular and huge but he doesn't know that. We cut to Tristen, fresh from his shower and with pants on, wipes the fog off the mirror to see his new muscular physique)
Tristen: (in shock and awe at his body) What in the world happened to me? I'm huge.
(As Tristen admires his new physique, a knock at the door snaps him out of it)
Brent: (from outside) Hey, can someone else have a turn?
(Tristen runs to the door and turns the door handle with such great force that it breaks off. Tristen yelps in shock as he drops the broken handle)
Tristen: (wide eyed in sheer terror) Woops. Just open the door, Brent!
Brent: (he opens the door to see Tristen with rippling muscles and a worried look on his face) Whoa, Tristen. Did you work out because you're literally huge.
Tristen: (gritting his teeth nervously) I noticed. How do you feel?
Brent: I feel strange and different but you look healthy and sexy.
Tristen: The bathroom is all yours.
Brent: Thanks, man.
(Tristen leaves the bathroom with hasty ease and pulls on his shirt. While walking down the hall, a spike suddenly zooms past his head and into the wall)
Tristen: Whoa, that was close. (he turns to the door next to him to see a tiny hole in the middle of the door. Tristen peeks through the door to reveal Shaughnessey sitting up and stretching, causing more spikes to shoot out of her body as Tristen jumps away as the spikes burst through the door and hit the wall)
Tristen: Phew, once again that is too close. (he then feels a sudden breeze under his feet and looks down to see himself literally floating off the ground) HOLY CRAP!!!! I'M FLYING!!
Shaughnessey: (runs out her room sporting a red t shirt and pink pj shorts to see Tristen floating in the middle of the hall in mid air) WHOA BABY, TRISTEN WHAT HAPPENED?!
Tristen: Don't ask! There were spikes coming out of your body and they almost killed me!
Shaughnessey: Tristen, you're being silly!
Tristen: Oh Yeah, look on the wall. (Shaughnessey looks on the wall to see the spikes on the wall)
Shaughnessey: (looks at the spikes on the wall and in her room) Did i do that?!
Brent: (yelling from the bathroom) Hey, someone broke the door handle. Let me out!
(as the chaos continues, Jacob and Kelan who are wearing clean clothing appear at the end of the hall. They see Tristen floating in the air)
Kelan: Holy cow, Tristen. YOU'RE FLYING!!!
Tristen: YA THINK? GET ME DOWN FROM HERE, PLEASE!!!
Jacob: (his eyes widen in horror at the sight of Tristen flying) Stay there, i'm coming. (runs toward him but trips but his raised arm stretches towards Tristen and hits him in the face, sending him flying backwards)
Tristen: (flying aimlessly backwwards) HEEEEELLLLP!!! (disappears into the labrynth like halls airborne)
Jacob: Sorry, Tristen. (he then looks at his arm which is literally stretched to grotesque proportions like a flesh colored rubber band) HOLY SHIT, MY ARM!!! WHAT HAPPENED TO MY ARM?!?!
Brent: (yelling again from the bathroom but in a monsterous voice) I SAID LET ME OUT OF HERE!!!! WHAT'S GOING ON OUT THERE?!?
Kelan: (running to the bathroom door but looks at Jacob's gruesomely stretched arm) AAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!! (he screams until the scream turns into a screech that destroys Shaughnessey's door) Did that come out of me?
(Both Shaughnessy and Jacob nod nervously and Kelan opens the door to find Brent in clean clothes but his eyes are now blood red and his face is corroded with irradiated features. Before the eyes of Shaughnessey, Kelan and Jacob, Brent begins to grow as his shirt tears apart along with half of his pants thanks to growing muscles. As a result, his skin turns into a royal shade of purple as this happens while his hair turns snow white and grows longer)
Brent: (now fully transformed and speeking in a monsterous voice) What is it? You guys look like you've seen a ghost.
Kelan: (huddled in fear with Jacob and Shaughnessey) Look in the mirror.
(Brent looks in the mirror to see himself as a purple skinned hulk like creature with his shirt in tatters)
Brent: AAAAHHHH!! What's happened to me?!
Demetrious: (pokes his head out of his door) What's going on out here?
Jacob: (stands ups a his arm rapidly recedes back into place) Nothing.
Demetrious: (confused but suspicious) Okaaaay.
(Demetrious closes the door and sits on his bed thinking about what just happened. Suddenly, he lets out a powerful sneeze that spews fire instead of spit. That sets the drapes on fire and Demetrious's eyes widen in pure horror as that happens)
Demetrious: (in pure horror) OH SHIT!!!! FIRE, MY ROOM IS ON FIRE!!!! (runs out of his room in a mad dash) HELP, MY FRIGGING ROOM IS ON FIRE!!!
Brent: (pokes his purple head out of the bathroom) What's on fire?!?
Demetrious: (completely loses it) BRENT, WHAT THE HE-(before he could finish, a beam of fire shoots out of his mouth and quickly disappears) What's happening to me? (he faints from shock. Meanwhile...)
(Hannah is meditating until her bed and everything else in the room start to lift off the ground. She opens her eyes and starts to accept what's happening)
Hannah: (realizing she is lifting everything in the room with her will) Oh my god. I'm suddenly Carrie. COLIN, COME IN HERE!!!
Colin: (comes in to see everything and Hannah in mid air) Whoa, Hannah. Are you doing this?
Hannah: (delighted by her new abilities) Yes, this is so cool! This is just like the movie, Carrie!
Colin: (now terrified) I'm going to get Tristen! (starts to run but suddenly his speed becomes uncontrollably fast. We cut to a close up to his face as he runs) Why am i running so fast?
(we cut to Cassie who is now waking up to a blaring alarm clock. She opens her eyes but they're green and the pupils are gone and a green beam shoots out of her hand and hits the clock which melts into black slime. All the while, Hali and Erika who woke up to witness the act, scream in shock)
Cassie: (her eyes return to normal) Morning, bitches. Why did you scream?
Hali: (terrified) I saw a green beam shoot out of your hand and melt that clock!
Cassie: That's rubbish. You're hallucinating.
Erika: (whose body is disappearing but her clean clothes remain visible) We're not hallucinating, we saw you do that!
Cassie: (her eyes widen in terror as Erika's body becomes invisible) Erika, your body is gone!
Erika: (while invisible) What are you talking about, Cassie? I'm right here!!!
Hali: (now terrified of Erika's newfound power) Look at yourself in the mirror!
(the floating clothes that used to be Erika Sillon rushes over to the mirror and her reflection is nothing but her clothes floating like a ghost)
Erika: (reacting to her invisible reflection) OH MY GOD!!!!! MY BODY IS GONE!!
Hali: Calm down, Erika. I'll get someone. (she runs out of the room)
(Once out of the room, she runs to find help but runs into a frantic Demetrious who bumps into her, causing them to fall to the floor. When Demetrious looks at Hali, he finds her as an exact copy of himself)
Hali: (not knowing that she became Demetrious) Demetrious, Erika is freaking out in my room. Her body disappeared.
Demetrious: (gobsmacked) What the hell are you talking about, mini me?
Hali: Demetrious, it's me, Hali.
Demetrious: (recognizing her voice) Hali? You look just like me!
Hali: What do you me and why do you look like you've seen a ghost?
Demetrious: My room is on fire and here's why. (snaps his finger and a single flame appears on his fingertip) That's why.
Hali: (shocked by the news) What's happening to us? Don't answer that. We got to help Erika.
(they get up and head back to Hali's room where the invisible Erika is in hysterical tears. Cassie is confused by two copies of Demetrious in the room)
Cassie: Demetrious, i'm glad you're here but which one are you?
Hali: (who is still Demetrious) Cassie, It's Hali. (looks in the mirror to see Demetrious staring back at her and screams) AAAAHGHHH! I'm Demetrious!!!
Demetrious: I told you so!
(Hali angrily turns to Demetrious and slaps him across the face before in a matrix-esque style morphs back to herself. Hali looks back to the mirror to see that she is herself again and sighs in relief. Demetrious is grabbed by an unseen force that turns out to be Erika giving him a bear hug as she slowly becomes visible again)
Demetrious: Erika, welcome back.
(She looks at him and by what he said, runs to the mirror and sees herself visible)
Erika: (happy to be visible again) I'm BACK!!!!
(we cut back to Hannah who is still enjoying herself with her newfound powers until an airborne Tristen flies into her room)
Tristen: (now sporting a bloody nose from Jacob hitting him in the face) HANNAH, HELP ME!!!
Hannah: (her fun has now ended as she sees her helpless boyfriend hovering in mid air) Tristen, What happened to you?!?
Tristen: I'll explain later now please get me down from here. Take my hand.
(Hannah uses her powers to drag Tristen down towards her and everything drops down to where they were as Hannah finds herself face to face with Tristen)
Tristen: (while on top of Hannah) Thanks, Hannah.
Hannah: Anytime. Your nose is bleeding
Tristen: (taking notice of this) Jacob clocked me when he tried to get me down. He didn't do it on purpose.
Hannah: (sees a box of tissues and uses her powers to levitate a tissue to Tristen's face) Let me clean that up. (wipes the blood from his upper lip)
Tristen: (shocked at Hannah's ablities) Once again, thanks. How did you do that?
Hannah: Do what? Oh, that. That just happened while i was meditating.
Tristen: Let's go and eat breakfast.
Hannah: Ok.
(They head down to eat breakfast and Colin who is running faster than a speeding bullet but Hannah uses her telekinesis to stop him from running)
Tristen: Whoa, Colin. Since when did you run so fast?
Colin: I don't know, Trist. Shaughnessey and Jacob are putting out a fire in Demetrious's room.
Tristen: WHAT? His room's on fire?
Jacob: (appearing at the end of the hallway with stretched out arms) Don't worry about it. The fire is out. Let's eat.
(we cut to the kids eating breakfast and Bruce Wayne is worried about what is happening to them)
Bruce: (to his butler Alfred Pennyworth) Alfred, i'm worried about these kids. I think they're mutated with something.
Alfred: Well master Bruce, they look like normal kids. There is nothing for you to be worried about.
Bruce: I just talked to one of them and he said that he saw something at Axis Chemicals before he blacked out. I wonder what he saw?
Tristen: (talking to his friends) I don't know what's happening to us or how i got muscular but i'm gonna find out.
Erika: Yeah, this whole thing is starting to freak me out.
Bruce: Hey Tristen.
Tristen: Yes, Bruce?
Bruce: What did you see at Axis Chemicals before you passed out?
Tristen: I don't know but i want to go back there to find out.
Bruce: You can't go back, it's too dangerous.
Demetrious: I agree with Tristen on this, Mr. Wayne. All of us are unbelievably concerned of what's happening to us. I just literally set my room on fire for crying out loud.
Bruce: I don't care, Dorian. I said no.
Demetrious: (clearly offended) It's Demetrious. (starts to introduce the rest of his friends) This is Erika, Kelan, Colin, Shaughnessey, Cassie, Jacob, Hannah and the purple guy is Brent.
Jacob: Look, Mr. Wayne, we have to go back. We're only going back there to investigate about whatever happened last night.
Bruce: (agitated but gives in) ALRIGHT! FINE! Alfred will drive you there tomorrow but for now finish your breakfast.
Tristen: (smiles) Thanks, Bruce. Can you give us the tour of this place after we eat?
(Bruce give off a confused look until we cut to night time in an office where Carl Grissom wearing nothing but a bathrobe pouring cognac in a glass as we pan next to him to see a figure resembling Jack Napier standing at the door behind him)
Carl: (hearing someone enter the room) That you, sugar bumps? (he turns around to see a figure that resembles Jack Napier) Who the hell are you?
Jack: (obscured in shadow) It's me, sugar bumps.
Carl: (alarmed and shocked that he survived the ordeal at Axis Chemicals) Jack? Oh, thank god you're alive. I heard you'd been-
Jack: (cuts him off mid-sentence) Fried? Is that what you heard? You set me up-over a woman. A WOMAN!!! You must be insane. (as Carl reaches for the gun) Don't bother.
Carl: (with extreme fury) YOUR LIFE WON'T BE WORTH SPIT!!!
Jack: (slowly stalking towards Carl) I've been dead once already. It's very liberating. You should think of it as...therapy.
Carl: (Now becoming nervous) Jack..listen. Maybe we can cut a deal.
Jack: (coming to light with his appearance changed with chalky white skin, emerald green hair and a curled ruby red grin) Jack? Jack is dead, my friend. You can call me Joker and as you can see, i'm a lot happier. (he then proceeds to shoot Carl to death in a playful but violent way)
The Joker: (after killing Carl) Oh, what a day!!!!
(we cut back to Wayne Manor with the kids, fresh from dinner and the tour of the mansion are going to the living room to talk about last night's events)
Brent: So, Tristen what did you see back at that place?
Tristen: I don't remember, Brent. There was this huge object behind me with red stuff trailing from it.
Demetrious: (everything is rushing back) As i was crawling to find a way out of there, i was covered in that stuff and i woke up from that thing. Could that thing be a...(everybody including Tristen realize in shock that the chemicals have mutated them) A cocoon?
Cassie: (her eyes widen in shock) This is like the movie Species but we're not aliens.
Tristen: That might be a possible answer to what is happening to us. But for now, let's go to bed and not think about it.
Hannah: (shocked) Ok. I'll dream of all of us being pod people!
(we cut to a montage of the kids sound asleep in their rooms with Tristen asleep on the couch as the background of the couch begins to disappear into a dream sequence where Tristen is standing on top of a building somewhere in Gotham. Screams of pain from Jack Napier start blaring in his mind like a massive headache that makes his nose literally bleed, causing him fall to his knees. With his heart pounding like a drum, Tristen stumbles to his feet and sees Hannah calling his name in desperation. Tristen runs to her but she turns out to be a mirage and falls 300 hundred feet to his death. Tristen snaps awake from his nightmare as the sequence ends. Tristen is breathing heavily from waking up and is suspended in mid air. At the same time, it is now morning)
Bruce: (walks in to see Tristen) Morning, Tristen. Hey, where did you go? (looks around until he sees Tristen lying on his back on the ceiling) OH MY GOD!!!
Tristen: (wakes up and finds himself on the ceiling) Oh great, this i need. (floats down before Bruce's eyes) Sorry about that.
Bruce: (eyes widen in shock) No problem.
(We then cut to Gotham City as we pan over building that are tall as skyscrapers. We cut to the town hall where a limo is parked out front with Bruce standing outside of it. Inside the limo, Tristen and the kids are admiring the limo with Alfred being the driver)
Bruce: (from outside the passenger window) Alfred, can you take the kids to Axis Chemicals? It's right near the docks.
Alfred: Sure, Master Bruce. I know where it is.
Erika: (yelling from the back) Hurry Tristen, roll down the window. Demetrious is about to blow.
(We cut to Demetrious sticking his head out the window, preparing to sneeze. Bob the goon is trying to light a cigarette with his lighter until a blast of fire from Demetrious lights it)
Bob The Goon: (confused about the fire appearing out of the blue) Hey, who did that?
Demetrious: (breathing heavily) Wow, that was close!
Colin: You could've blown up the whole limo, Demetrious!
Bruce: Kids, stay out of trouble and be extremely careful over there, you hear me?
Tristen: Oh we will, don't you worry!
(The limo drives away with the kids and leaves Bruce alone outside of the town hall. We cut to Axis Chemicals which now has police tape surrounding the building as the limo pulls up to it. The limo stops in front of the tape and the kids exit the vehicle)
Tristen: (peers inside the window) Thanks for the ride, Alfred. We owe you one.
Alfred: No problem at all, master Tristen. I'll wait out here for you kids. Don't be too long.
Tristen: We won't be long at all. Lets go, you guys! (the kids step over the tape and disappaer into the building.)
Tristen: (the building is really dark for the kids) Demetrious, we need your flame. It's too dark in here.
Demetrious: Sure. (snaps his fingers and a single flame appears on his finger tip, lighting up the whole factory) Wow, everything's the same from the other night. (He sees a hatched cocoon in the center of the room) What the hell is that?
Tristen: (in shock on seeing the cocoon) That is a cocoon! I knew it. I bet that is what i saw before i blacked out.
(The kids slowly creep to the cocoon to see that it was already hatched. They see a shirt inside it covered in scarlet goo)
Demetrious: (recognizing the shirt) Is that my shirt?! (he tries to get it out but finds out that the shirt has been liquidated by the cocoon)
Tristen: (trying to make a joke out of the situation) Correction: WAS your shirt.
Demetrious: (horrified) I WAS IN THE THING?!?! I CAME OUT OF THERE STARK NAKED?
Cassie: (shaken by the relevation) Tristen, how many more of these cocoons are in this place?
Tristen: I don't know. We'll go on the upper deck to see if there's more.
Colin: (freaked out) That's a good call.
( a montage begins with the kids scouting for more cocoons on the upper deck. Tristen finds his cocoon with his clothes liquidated inside. Cassie also finds hers with her clothes liquidated inside as well as the others find the last cocoon that has all of their clothes liquidated inside too.)
Tristen: (with the events of the night of the shootout rushing back) Guys, i think the chemicals have mutated us.
Hali: (shocked at the fact that Tristen just stated) WHAT?! I CAN'T BE TRUE!! Can it?
Brent: (scratching his snow white hair in confusion) Does this explain what's happening to us?
Tristen: Yes, it does! We are mutants now. (With that said, everybody begins to freak out in terror) GUYS, CAN YOU ALL JUST SHUT UP?!?!?! (everyone stops screaming) It's not a bad thing. We can use these powers for good.
Hannah: Tristen, we can't control them.
Tristen: Don't know unless we try right? Who's up for a little superpower practice?
(We cut back to the mansion at night where Tristen and the gang are practicing their powers on the grounds. Hannah uses her telekinesis on a group of garden tool and hurls them into targets. A montage begins with the Chariots Of Fire theme playing in the background as Demetrious snaps his fingers, causing a beam of fire to shoot towards a target and it blows up in a fiery blaze. Jacob stretches his body to outrageous proportions and attacks the targets with long range attacks. Cassie hits the targets with radiation blast from the palm of her hand as her eyes turn green. A group of guns suddenly aims at Erika and she cowers in fear but the bullets that were shot out didn't hit her as she is protected by a bluish purple force field, causing her to sigh in relief and in wonder. Brent uses his mutated strength to destroy the targets with his sledgehammer sized hands. Shaughnessey uses her exoskeleton spikes to hit the targets but as she shoots the targets, She writhes in pain as an exoskeleton armor breaks through her clothes. Hali looks through pictures in the Noble High School Class Of 2016 and takes the form of all of her friends in many shapes or sizes. Kelan uses his sonic screams to shatter the glass targets and Tristen controls his flying abilities and uses his super strength to lift Alfred's limo up into the air with such ease. All the while, Colin uses his super speed running around in circles and breaking the targets.)
Bruce: (Watching from his bedroom window as the kids learn how to use their powers properly) Alfred, i think i now know what happened to these kids.
Alfred: What happened exactly, Master Bruce?
Bruce: Those chemicals at the plant mutated them, changed their DNA. They are mutants.
(we cut to Tristen and the group returning to the mansion after hours of practicing their powers)
Bruce: Tristen, can i talk to you for a minute?
Tristen: (confused but willing) Sure, what about?
