Chapter 12: A Happy Ending for Mario and Peach
The next morning, Peach was looking sadly towards the unconscious Mario, Bloo and Eduardo from a rock about two yards from the shore. Kakashi, Toad, Toadette and Toadsworth looked on at this as well. Stitch, Angel, Scorpio, Reuben, Shuzco and Wizard were watching the unconscious trio as well. The blond-haired mermaid then sighed sadly, and then, she sang a little song.
(A/N: The following song that Peach will be singing is a little excerpt from the Broadway version of The Little Mermaid, which will be around by next year.)
Peach: If only I could speak
If just to say goodbye
Kakashi looked down at Toad, who looked up at the king in response. The white-haired merman then looked back at Peach as he spoke. “She really does love him, doesn’t she, Toad?” Kakashi asked, looking at Toad.
“Yeah.” The mushroom-hatted munchkin replied with a nod.
Peach: If only I could somehow find the strength at least to try
“Well, it’s like I always say, Your Majesty.” Toadsworth said, “Children have got to be free to lead their own lives.”
The others looked at him like he was crazy and Toadette spoke. “You… always say that?” In response, Toadsworth chuckled a bit while shrugging.
Peach: I’d reach into my heart
As deep as I can go
Kakashi sighed with a sad look on his face as he looked in Peach’s direction. The sea king knew that he could not keep his daughter with her in the ocean forever; he knew for a fact that Peach would have to follow her heart no matter what.
Peach: And oh, what you would hear
If only I could try
With another sad sigh, Kakashi spoke. “I guess there’s just one problem left to solve.”
“And what’s that, Your Majesty?” Toad asked as he, Toadsworth, and Toadette looked up at their king.
“How much I’m going to miss her.” Kakashi replied.
“Mind if we help?” A familiar young voice asked.
The four turned to see none other than Lilo, and her two friends, Mac, and Timmy Turner, sitting on a rock nearby. When these three were together, they were known as none other than the dynamic toon kid trio. Mac was holding his Golden Keyblade while Timmy held a huge glowing wand.
“The dynamic toon kid trio!” Toad and Toadette exclaimed in excitement.
With a smile, Mac spoke as he looked towards King Kakashi. “Well, Your Majesty, would ya like any help making Mario and Peach’s dreams come true?” The bigheaded boy asked.
“I was hoping you would say that, Mac.” Kakashi said with a smile from underneath his mask.
Then, Timmy spoke with an excited tone. “Well, then… let’s make their dreams a reality!”
With that, Kakashi placed his trident on the water flatly while pointing it in Peach’s direction as Timmy waved his wand, Mac waved his gold Keyblade, and Lilo also waved hers, and the three’s weapons gave off a green aura, and Mario, Bloo, and Eduardo glowed that color as well. At that same time, magic came through ripples of water from Kakashi’s trident, went towards Peach, and soon touched her. All of a sudden, the mermaid’s tail began to glow, catching her attention. When Peach looked down at her glowing tail, her surprised look quickly went into a smile of excitement. She looked at Toad, Toadette and Toadsworth, who smiled with Kakashi, who smiled behind his mask, along with Timmy, Mac, and Lilo.
Back on the shore, Mario and his two allies woke up groggily.
“Man, what happened last night?” Bloo asked groggily, rubbing his sore head. “I had the craziest dream that we fought a forty-foot tall sea witch, and then-”
At that moment, Eduardo interrupted. “Uh- Azul? That was no dream; it actually pasó.”
Upon waking up, Mario sat up, and shook his head. Soon, he heard the sound of a familiar beautiful voice vocalizing. “It can’t-a be!”
The red-clad plumber and his two allies immediately looked down the shore to see a shadowed figure slowly coming towards them, and soon, the figure began to sing with a familiar voice.
Figure: Now we can walk
(Bloo then began praying to himself. “Please don’t be Cackletta! Please don’t be Cackletta!”
Eduardo, too, was also praying to himself. “Por favor no be Señorita Lust! Por favor no be Señorita Lust!”)
Now we can run
Then, the figure came out of the shadows as her walking became running. It was none other than Peach, once again a human, and wearing a sexy sparkling pink spaghetti dress.
(A/N: The same dress that she wears in Super Mario Sunshine; only it’s a sparkling one.)
“It’s Peach!” Bloo and Eduardo exclaimed in both excitement and happiness.
Peach: Now we can stay all day in the sun!
An ecstatic smile came onto Mario’s face upon seeing the love of his life. He then began walking in her direction, but suddenly began running towards her. Soon, the two lovers came up to each other, and hugged each other tightly, not wanting to let go. They then looked at each other passionately, and then kissed.
That following day, wedding bells rang. Literally! The reason: Peach and Mario were getting married. Just as the two were kissing, Stitch popped out of nowhere, and licked the two each on the cheek, and Peach and Mario laughed happily. The crowd cheered as Stitch got onto the floor, and the red-clad plumber petted his little friend on the head. Everyone was super happy for this marriage, even Sakura, who started bawling, and blew her nose on Sasuke’s shirt, which made the black-haired ninja look extremely embarrassed.
Nearby, Bloo, Eduardo, Timmy, Mac, Lilo, Luigi, Scorpio, Reuben, Shuzco, Wizard, Angel, and Daisy were smiling at the event just as the muscular monster began to wail happily. This caught the gang’s attention as they looked at him.
“Hey, big guy. What’s the matter?” Reuben asked.
Eduardo then looked at the koala-like creature with tear-filled eyes. “Oh, Señor Reuben, I just love happy endings!”
The others nodded as Luigi spoke while smiling. “Yeah. I do-a, too.”
“I second that emotion.” Daisy agreed with a nod.
“Ditto!” Bloo, Wizard, Timmy, Mac, Scorpio, and Shuzco added at the same time.
“Ih.” Angel agreed while smiling.
Meanwhile, Tucker took a picture of Peach and Mario. “Now to get one with Peach’s parents.” The African American nerd said while smiling.
“Uh- Tucker? Peach only has one parent.” Sam told her friend.
“Aw, why don’t ya go ruin it for everyone while you’re at it?” Tucker said with a scowl.
From the side of the ship, all the merpeople, including Peach’s friends and family, cheered at this wedding as well. Even Peach’s sisters were there as they, along with Abby, Kuki, Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup, waved to the now human princess, who then blew a kiss to Sora, Donald, Goofy, Mickey, Riku, Nigel, Hoagie, and Wally, who blushed in embarrassment. Ben winked at her while Gwen made the thumbs-up expression with a smile.
“I’m so happy you’re back to normal, Peach.” Lilo said as she, Stitch, Angel, Scorpio, Reuben, Shuzco and Wizard walked up to Peach and Mario.
“Me too, Lilo. My family is so happy for me.” Peach said happily.
“I wish I have a family.” Lilo said to herself with a sad look on her face. Peach heard her and looked at her in concern.
“See, her family was-a killed in a car crash.” Mario explained sadly to Peach.
The human princess gasped in horror, then said sadly to Lilo, “Oh, I’m sorry to hear that.”
“It’s okay.” Lilo said with a sad smile on her face. (A/N: The same face she had before she went back to Earth in the beginning of Leroy & Stitch.)
“Hey! I have an idea!” Peach exclaimed. “Perhaps you and your family could live with me and Mario.”
“Huh?” Lilo asked in confusion. Mario knows what Peach meant.
“She means that-a we’re going to adopt-a your whole ohana!” Mario said with a smile on his face.
“Really?” Lilo asked excitedly.
“But what about Hawaii?” Wizard asked.
“Remember, Wizard?” Scorpio reminded Wizard, “Mario’s castle is on our island.”
“Oh, right!” Wizard exclaimed, realizing. “Then we’ll take your offer and would love to be your family!”
“Thank you. Come here… my daughter.” Peach said as she holds out her arms for Lilo.
“MOMMY!” Lilo yelled excitedly. She ran to Peach and hugged and nuzzled her new mother. Her new father, Mario, hugged Lilo as well. Stitch, Angel, Scorpio, Reuben, Shuzco and Wizard hug their new extra owners as well. Lilo’s big sister, Nani, was shocked.
“You’ve gotta be kidding!” Nani exclaimed in shock. “I’m in charge of Lilo!”
“Well, since we are your new parents, we’re in charge of her now.” Peach said, “But from now on, whenever Mario and I go out, you’re in charge of her, Nani. Besides, leave the trouble with Lilo to us.”
Nani smiled on that. Then she said, “Thanks… Mom.” Then she joined in the family hug. David, Jumba, Kyua Kyufressjo, Pleakley and Captain Gantu hugged as well.
Meanwhile, Toad looked around frantically. “Hey, where’s Toadsworth?”
The old toadstool in question was actually sitting on the wedding cake with tear-filled eyes while Naruto stood nearby. Then, Shuzco came up to Naruto.
“Sooo, Naruto… you and Toadsworth on good terms now?” Shuzco asked with a smirk.
“Huh?” Naruto asked in confusion.
“Ya know. Since the whole stuffed mushroom incident.”
The blond ninja boy looked towards Toadsworth with enraged eyes and anger marks all over his forehead. “THAT WAS YOU?”
“Uh-oh.” Toadsworth said. He then jumped off of the cake that he was standing on just as Naruto slashed at him with a kunai.
The boy kept on chasing the old toadstool around until he saw a rope. Toadsworth then cut the rope, and a mast came flying down at Naruto. Soon, the mast hit the young ninja in the face, and all of his teeth got knocked out, and he fell over unconscious. Laughing happily, Toadsworth jumped over the side of the ship, and into the water while laughing happily.
“Ha ha! Yes!” Toadsworth exclaimed happily as Peach’s friends came up to him, and the old toadstool bowed. “Thank you. Thank you.”
At that moment, Peach came up to the ship’s side railing. Kakashi then came up to the side of the ship as he made a column of water rise up to Peach’s level. The two then hugged happily as an unseen chorus began vocalizing.
“I love you, Daddy.” Peach whispered to her father happily. Then, the chorus began to sing one last time.
Chorus: Now we can walk
Now we can run
Once they let go of each other, the former mermaid looked up at her father with tear-filled eyes and a smile. Kakashi then looked over Peach’s shoulder as she looked in that direction as well to see Mario standing there with a smile, and he bowed.
Now we can play all day in the sun
Kakashi then lowered himself down back to water as Peach blew a kiss to him. Then, Mario came up to his new wife as the red-clad prince sang too as he wrapped his arm around Peach’s arm.
Mario: Just you and me
The fair-haired woman smiled as she sang, too, as Lilo, Stitch, Angel, Scorpio, Reuben, Gantu, Shuzco, Wizard, Nani, David, Jumba, Kyua and Pleakley walk up to the new members of her ohana.
Peach: And I will be
Peach, Mario and Lilo’s ohana then waved to all the sea creatures while smiling.
All: Part of your world!
With both a smile and a wave of the trident, Kakashi magically made a rainbow appear. Then, as the wedding ship departed, all the sea creatures and merpeople waved good-bye to the humans while some dove underwater, and others looked on lovingly as Kakashi looked at Peach’s land and sea friends with smiles. Then, Peach and Mario kissed one last time. Like in all fairy tales, Disney movies, and parodies alike, our lovely newlyweds, along with their adopted children, friends, and family, would live happily ever after.
