The Last Blood: The Animated Series

The Last Blood: The Animated Series is an American-Japanese animated horror action television series; it is loosely based on the 2000 anime film Blood: The Last Vampire.

Summary

In circa 2019 Japan, a team of top secret undercover agents dispatches a mysterious woman named Saya who is sent to a high school on a U.S. military base a few days before Halloween to hunt down creatures known as Chiropterans.

Voice Cast

Saya- the main protagonist of the film. She is the last remaining vampire and is called "the only remaining original". Though she holds most humans in contempt, she seems to have some respect for both Alice and David.

David- one of Saya's handlers who works for the U.S. government organization called the Red Shield. His father was one of Saya's previous handlers during the Vietnam War.

Lewis- One of Saya's handlers who works for the U.S. government organization called the Red Shield.

Joel-A close friend of Alice who was viciously killed by Chiropterans a year prior to the events of the series.

Alice- David's teenaged niece who befriended Saya and later fell in love with her. She is the daughter of a chiropteran and a human woman (David's sister).

Maya-She was a prototype of a now defunct project created by scientists who wanted to create an anti chiropteran weapon but backfires as Maya required blood and could transform like other chiropteran. She convinces Alice to eat so they can become one pure blood Chiropteran. Alice hesitantly granted Maya's request and kills her.
