The Fampsons : Legend of the Golden Lion is a 2015 British/American live-action/animated crossover comedy adventure musical film directed by Chris Sanders and Kirk DeMicco. The film stars Will Smith, Gary Oldman, Lucy Liu and Robert Downey Jr. In Legend of the Golden Lion, The Simpsons, Griffins and the other characters must travel to find the Golden Lion, a statue of a lion which causes the characters to come to life, before the magic disappears. The film premiered on September 29, 2015, at New York City's Ziegfeld Theater and was released in the United States and United Kingdom on October 23, 2015. The Fampsons : Legend of the Golden Lion grossed over $363 million at the box office and had some positive reviews. This film was dedicated to the memory of Leonard Nimoy, who died months before the film's release.

The film served as the series finale for The Simpsons 2.0 and Family Guy 2.0.
