The Color Warriors is a 2020 Japanese magical girl anime series created by Toei Animation. It focuses on a group of schoolgirls who transform into magical "Color Warriors" or "Color Princesses" to fight criminals in an alternate world called the Royale Kingdom. It borrows elements from magical girl series such as Sailor Moon and Pretty Cure.

Color Warriors AKA Color Princesses
- Brenda Anderson/Princess Cerulean: The main protagonist and leader of the Color Princesses. Brenda is an enthusiastic 14-year old, pink-skinned (turning pale blue when transformed) girl with purple and orange hair (turning bright teal when transformed) who goes to Sunnyside High School in the fictional town Havenville, Ohio with her best friend Jocelyn. She loves her friends very much, but she is often shy and nervous under pressure. Her alter ego is Princess Cerulean, the princess of the ocean and water. Her color scheme as a civilian is based on Bubbles from Splash and Bubbles.
- Jocelyn Summers/Princess Lemon: The deuteragonist and Brenda's closest friend, Jocelyn is an outgoing, adventurous, and optimistic 13-year old, orange-skinned (turning light yellow when transformed, and her hair turns bright yellow) girl. She is in the same class as Brenda and can be somewhat overconfident in her talents. Her alter ego is the princess of light, happiness, and sunshine, Princess Lemon. Her yellow color scheme is based on Splash from Splash and Bubbles
- Ramira Lòpez/Princess Viridian: One of Brenda's classmates and friends. Her family emigrated to Ohio from Venenzuela when she was 10. She is 14 years old with pale pinkish-purple skin (turning light green when transformed) and purple hair (turning bright spring green when transformed) and plays the violin, though she often can't play the notes correctly due to getting distracted. Her alter ego is Princess Viridian, the princess of plants, life, and forests. Her background and color sceme as a civilian is based on Ripple from Splash and Bubbles.
- Ruby Willow/Princess Vermillion: Ruby is 15 years old and is in a different class than Brenda, Ramira, and Jocelyn. She has pale baby blue skin (turning light red when transformed) and bright orange hair (turning firetruck red when transformed) and has a short temper, though she does care about her friends. Her temper sometimes pushes others away. Her alter ego is Princess Vermillion, the princess of fire.
- Stella Booker/Princess Carnation: Stella is a caring 12-year old with light pink hair and skin (turning more neon pink when transformed), and is also in a different class. She will do anything she can to help somebody, but suffers from a phobia of blood and wounds. With time, however, she is able to manage this fear to heal others. Her alter ego is the princess of flowers, healing, and kindness, Princess Carnation.
- Lyra Campbell/Princess Lilac: A 14-year old with pale indigo skin (turning lilac when transformed) and dark blue hair (royal purple when transformed) who lives in the Royale Kingdom as the daughter of Queen Iris, she was sent by her mother to seek out a group of girls who could protect her kingdom. She is loyal to her friends, but has a hard time being honest. She eventually becomes a Color Princess to protect her home and her alter ego is Princess Lilac, the princess of loyalty and beauty.
