The Cat In The Hat 2 is an American 3-D computer-animated comedy dra ma fantasy musical film produced by Warner Animation Group and released by Warner Bros. Pictures. It is the sequel to The Cat In The Hat and the second film in the franchise. It features the return of director Ana Lily Amirpour and composer John Powell. Set five months after the events of the first film, it follows Sally and Conrad Walden teaming up with the Cat In The Hat as a new villain threatens Anville, and they must invite three anthropomorphic humanoid animals to stop him, with help from a new friend named Armor Diamond. Along the way, Sally falls in love with Conrad and must conquer her greatest fear. In the film's ensemble voice cast, Brooklynn Prince, Jack Black, JD McCrary, Jenna von Oy, Steve Burns, Bill Hader, Dee Bradley Baker, and Owen Laramore reprise their character roles as Sally, the Cat in the Hat, Conrad, Joan, Mr. Humberfloob, the Fish, Thing one and Thing Two, and the Cat in the Hat Jr. from the first film. The returning cast is joined by Mckenna Grace, Mel Gibson, Keanu Reeves, Jude Law, and Kate McKinnon, who voice the new characters introduced in this film.
