Book 1 - The Dreamcatcher: In the year of 2013, Zoey starts camp at Camp Lilac. She gets Cabin #13 sharing it with girls by the names of Josie, Lotus, Lily, and Marcy. During the first night campfire, Zoey, along with other campers, hear a camper named Noah tell a scary story about a creature known as the Dreamcatcher. "The Dreamcatcher attacks you in your sleep, and then he takes you, and EATS YOU!" He explained. That night, Zoey couldn't sleep. Lily, her new friend, helped calm her down and so they went to sleep. In the morning, Zoey saw cob webs on her head and so did Lily. They decided it was a prank by the boys. So, at the barbeque, Zoey comfronted the boys but they denied the accusation. Zoey decided to go into the forest to look for the Dreamcatcher. She later saw Ella and Marcy also looking for him and later a boy named Matthew having the same goal. Marcy and Ella disappeared and Matthew and Zoey were hit over the head and kidnapped. They woke up in a spider web with Marcy and Ella. The Dreamcatcher was ready to eat and lunged at Ella and Marcy, killing them. Using his Swiss Army Knife, Matthew cut his webs and cut Zoey's webs. They escaped the cave as the Dreamcatcher followed them. They ran to Cabin #13 and opened the door, witnessing the Dreamcatcher. But Matthew stabbed him with the Swiss Army Knife and the Dreamcatcher died. Zoey and Matthew kissed and moarned over Lily and Marcy's death.
Book 2 - The Secret of Lilac Lake: In 2014, Zoey returns to Camp Lilac and arrives at her same cabin with two new members, J.J. and a strange girl named Katalina. At night, Katalina sneaks out of the cabin. Zoey and Josie are confused and are later perplexed when Katalina runs out at breakfest aftering getting water on herself. They decide to follow her as she leaves the cabin again that night. They see that she has a tail and Katalina explains that she signed up for camp so she wouldn't get caught with her tail. They promise not to tell anyone her secret and go back to the cabin. Then, a mysterious voice says "Don't trust her," and drops a scary drawing of an evil mermaid. Zoey and Josie decide to ignore it and leave. More coming soon...
