Peter John Laurie Dickson (born November 17, 1994) is a Canadian-American voice actor, actor, director, producer and song writer. He is best known for his role as Ray the Squirrel in the Sonic the Hedgehog film series. He has also starred in other films including; Eight Below (2006), The Fast/The Furious (2007), and it's sequels, Transformers: More Than Meets The Eye, Tonka: Five One-0 (both 2011), G.I. Joe: Retaliation (2013), and Transformers vs. G.I. Joe (2015).

He currently stars as Special Agent K.C. Raiden on the CBS drama series, NCIS: Ottawa , a spin-off of NCIS.

Career

Film

Dickson made his voice acting debut in 1999 as the voice of Pikachu in Hot Wheels: The First Movie. He preformed the English dubbed voice of Ray the Squirel in 2001's Sonic Racers, replacing Corey Bringas.  He also voiced Ralphie Tennelli in The Magic School Bus (2004), Ronald Dante in Atlantis Planet (2005), Shockwave and Swindle in Transformers: More Than Meets The Eye, as well as Boomy the Parrot in The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water.

Dickson made his live-action film acting debut in 2006 in Walt Disney Pictures' Eight Below. The film was a box office success and received positive reviews from critics. He was cast as Blake Landon in the fourth entry in the The Fast and The Furious series, The Fast/The Furious, co-starring with Vin Diesel and Christian Bale, and as John Brian in Metro-Golden-Mayer's Matchbox. He respired his Fast & Furious role in Fast Six, Furious 7, and Fast & Furious 8. Dickson played as Tonka Joe in 2011's Tonka: Five One-0 and respired his role in it's 2015 sequel Tonka: Revelation. He also played as Deep Six in 2013's G.I. Joe: Retaliation and 2015's Transformers/G.I. Joe crossover Transformers vs. G.I. Joe.

Television

Dickson rarely made television appearances, but he did provided English voice dubbing for four anime series; Hamtaro, Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny, InuYasha and Omamori Himari. He also voiced a character on SpongeBob SquarePants.

In 2009, Dickson guest starred on CBS' hit drama CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, and it's spin-off, CSI: Miami. Since 2013, he starred as NCIS Special Agent K.C. Raiden on the NCIS spin-off, NCIS: Ottawa.

Dickson has collaborated with many actors and voice actors, most notably Dwayne Johnson, Enuka Okuma, Michael J. Fox, Alexander Gould, Paul Walker, Christian Bale, and Anthony Ghannam.

In a 2011 interview, Dickson stated that his inspiration for voice acting and acting came from a number of various actors and voice actors, including; Ken Berry, Rod Taylor, Dean Jones, Rowan Atkinson, Tony Jay, Peter Cullen, Frank Welker, Dennis Haysbert, Don Adams, Jim Carrey, Steve Carell, Michael J. Fox, Matt Hill, and Samuel Vincent.

Personal Life

Dickson is an uncle of two nephews. He is also an honorary brother of Paul Walker's daughter Meadow Rain Walker.

Dickson is friends with Atlantis Planet co-star Alexander Gould and actress Angela Sarafyan.
