The Angry Birds Movie: Reboot is a 2022 Finnish-American 3D computer-animated action-adventure comedy film based on the video game series of the same name. It is a reboot of The Angry Birds Movie.
Taking place a year after the events of Angry Birds 4, Leonard has been working on a time machine after his defeat in The Angry Birds Movie: The Sequel and warps to the time before Red hatched, killing Red's parents with a knife, changing the timeline and creating an alternate reality, where Bird Island is ruled by Leonard and his army of pigs. Red is a troublesome criminal rebelling against the pig's harsh laws. Chuck is a clumsy waiter at a local watering hole, Bomb is a soldier suffering from a lame leg, Bubbles and Hal are citizens who got arrested by Leonard's guards, Terence can speak, Matilda is still in her Peace Dojo with her students (Stella, Brown, Don, Striped Bird, Hockey Bird, and Frank in this alternate timeline). With the guidance of a prophesising Mighty Eagle, they must band together, form the Flock anew, and must defeat Leonard.
The film also sets up the beginning of the The Angry Birds Movie: Split Paths trilogy. A sequel, untitled Angry Birds reboot sequel, was released in 2024, and the final chapter, The Angry Birds Movie Reboot: The Beginning of the End, was released into two parts - Part 1 in 2026, and Part 2 in 2027.
Plot
The movie begins in the present-day, Leonard has been working on a time machine, which is the only way to defeat the birds. He soon finds out that his son, King Pig, has been defeated, so he gets a knife, and time warps to the day before Red hatched. Red's parents are having a peaceful day, but Leonard shows up with a knife, killing both of Red's parents, but young Terence manages to survive and runs away with the egg. Leonard then brings his army from the present-day and take over the island.
Years later, adult Leonard is in control of the land. Red has become a rebellious young adult who does criminal acts like robberies, vandalizing, and destroying stuff.

- Jason Marsden as Bubbles, an orange bird who can inflate like a balloon.
- TBA as Hal, a green bird who can spin back like a boomerang.
- Kate McKinnon as Stella, a pink bird who blows bubbles.
- Samuel L. Jackson as Brown, a brown bird who resembles Chuck (but with black chest feathers, black eyebrows, and brown feathers), and has the ability to fly.
- Jack Black as Don, an owl who has the ability to spin like a pinball. He is based on the Brown Bird from Angry Birds Fanon Wiki and even looks like him.
- Alexander Gould as Striped Bird, a bird who has the ability to explode just like Bomb, but more prettier.
- Alan Tudyk as Hockey Bird, a hockey-playing white bird who uses his hockey stick as a weapon.
- TBA as Frank, a purple bird with three head feathers who resembles Red, but no maroon spots. He can poison his enemies using his spiky tail. He is often blamed by Bubbles & Chuck for "dating" Stella.
- Bill Hader as Leonard, a pig with a beard. He is the main antagonist, and has killed Red's parents in order to create an alternate timeline. He is the king on Bird Island in this alternate timeline.
