Shortly after, On May 4, 2017, The AMN placed an order for a third season with a premiere date of Fall 2018. The reason for the renewals is because Undateable Live! was the network's highest rated show at the time, with the network's comedies doing 0.6-0.7 with 2 million viewers on average and the dramas doing 0.5-0.8 with 3 million viewers. However, the show's steep drop in ratings during Season 2 meant it was no longer the best rated show on the network, actually being within the bottom 3.
