TV6 Nature is a British international television channel owned by international mass-media conglomerate, TV6 Nature Media Group.
this channel primarily broadcasts nature documentaries and launched on May 3, 1994.
History
As a female channel (1994-1998)
In 1994 Kinnevik started TV6 as a complement to TV3. The new channel was then profiled as "the female channel".
TV6 logo (1994-98)

In 1997, Sportkanalen and TVG were closed down.
TV6 (1998-present)
TV6 Nature/Action World (1998-2000)
On February 2, 1998, the channel changed its direction and became a pay channel that broadcasted nature programs 6:00 pm to 09:00 pm and action series and films 09:00 pm to 12:00 am.
The programming service were named TV6 Nature World and TV6 Action World.

At the end of the 1990s, Nickelodeon, who had previously shared channel space with ZTV, began broadcasting on TV6 channel space during the daytime. (5:00 am to 06:00 pm)
TV6 Nature/Action (2000-2005)
In 2000, TV6 Nature/Action World was renamed to TV6 Nature/Action.

In 2003, 1,784,000 Swedes were able to see the channel (21% of the population, Source: MMS). In total, the Swedes watched the channel on average 0.6 minutes daily.

The content on TV6 Action was gradually shifted to include more crime series such as Law & Order and CSI. This strand was therefore rebranded into TV6 Crime on October 1, 2005.
On February 1, 2007, Nickelodeon was removed from the channel and TV6 Nature's broadcasts expanded significantly. TV6 Nature then sent at 06:00 am to 08:00 pm and TV6 Crime took over from 08:00 pm to 12:00 am.

On November 10, 2015, TV6 Nature Media Group and Viasat made some changes to its channel offering in connection with the launch of a special premium channel for tv series, the Viasat Series. In connection with this change, TV6 Crime was defunct. Some of the channel's offerings were moved to Viasat Series and TV8. At the same time, TV6 Nature received an extended transmission time, 06:00 am to 12:00 am.
TV6 Nature (2015-present)
On April 30, 2018, TV6 Nature became a 24-hour television channel.
