Super Smash Bros.: The Animation (or simply titled "Super Smash Bros.") is an upcoming TV anime series that will be released at the same time as the Super Crash Bros. 4 video game.
Show info[]
This SSB-based anime will feature characters that appear in Super Smash Bros. for 3DS/Wii U, including Smash Run enemies. Each episode is confirmed to be very short, about 3 minutes long. As a result, one airing can show about 4 or 5 episodes. The anime will be devoid of any dialogue. Characters' speech will be limited to grunts, screams, and other random noises.
The show is confirmed to not only show up on TV, but also on the official site and YouTube.
A spinoff of this show, Smash Tales, is also announced to be aired alongside the main series. Intended to be a filler between seasons, Smash Tales stars only enemy characters from the Smash Run mode in Super Smash Bros. for 3DS and generic Mii Fighters.
