This is the era where there were videos like Mario and Tony videos. It ends after the first episode of Mario and Luigi's Stupid and Dumb Adventures.
Mama Luigi Era:
This is the era where videos like Mario and Luigi's Stupid and Dumb adventures aired, and Mama Luigi was still alive. It ends after MALSADA Season 2 episode 1, after the tragic death of Mama Luigi.
Black Yoshi Era:
This is the era that is currently still showing videos in. It features many many characters and has one sub-era that has ended:
Birds Era:
The birds era began after Black Yoshi and the Birds episode 1 and ends once the birds stop being in videos. It has a brief return during the finale for BYATB.

Plot:

SML Movie: Bowser's Chocolate Cake (Black Yoshi Era)
Bowser makes Chef PeePee back him a chocolate cake, but things go wrong when Toad eats the cake and Chef PeePee and Toad have to steal a cake from Officer Goodman or else Chef PeePee will be killed by Bowser.
SML Movie: Black Yoshi's Bank Robbery (Black Yoshi Era)
Black Yoshi needs some money, so he decides to rob a bank.
