Stegosaurus (SciiFii)

Stegosaurus darwinii (name meaning "Darwin's roof lizard") is a species of large plated herbivorous dinosaur originally from the Late Jurassic period, where they are found in Kimmeridgian to early Tithonian aged strata, between 155 and 150 million years ago, in the western United States and Portugal, and was once extinct, but has since been brought back from extinction by SciiFii and now lives in the Jurassic Trails located at Cretaceous Park in Sacramento, California. Stegosaurus darwinii is a large, heavily built, herbivorous quadrupedal animal with a rounded back, short forelimbs, long hindlimbs, and tail that is held high in the air. Due to its distinctive combination of a broad, upright plates and tail tipped with spikes, Stegosaurus darwinii and the original Stegosaurus species is one of the most recognizable kinds of non-avian dinosaurs. The array of plates are normwlly used for display to attract females and secondarily for thermoregulatoryfunctions, while the spikes are used for defense against possible predators. Stegosaurus darwinii has a relatively low brain-to-body mass ratio. It has a short neck and a small head, forcing it to normally feed on low-lying bushes, shrubs, and fruits.
