Plot[]
The episode begins with SpongeBob happily working at the Krusty Krab. In Mr. Krabs' office, Mr. Krabs checked his chart and was shocked to see that he gets less money per work. Mr. Krabs comes out of his office and tells SpongeBob and Squidward the news. He keeps demanding them to work harder. Suddenly, Mr. Krabs' boss comes to the wrecked restaurant and fires Mr. Krabs for overworking his employees. SpongeBob and Squidward were worried about what they would do without a boss.
The next morning, Mr. Krabs' boss comes to the Krusty Krab again and gives them a new boss named Kranky Krabs. The crab boss was not like Mr. Krabs. He was mean and wasn't nice to them. He keeps scaring away all of the customers which SpongeBob is all upset about. Kranky Krabs yells at SpongeBob to stop sniveling and get back to flipping the patties. Squidward was reading his magazine, but Kranky Krabs takes his magazine away, rolls it up, and hits his head with it. He tells Squidward for not watching the customers, he should clean every nook and cranny of the Krusty Krab. SpongeBob tells Squidward he doesn't like the new boss. Squidward says he doesn't either. Kranky Krabs calls them to a table and has served them dinner to make them work harder.
SpongeBob hoped it was a Krabby Patty for him. Squidward hoped it was Canned Bread. In SpongeBob's dish, it was a Krabby Patty alright, but it had disgusting green gooey spinach all over it. In Squidward's dish, it was Canned Bread alright, but when Squidward takes the bread out of the can, Kranky Krabs pours gooey spinach all over the bread. When SpongeBob and Squidward refuse to eat, Kranky Krabs shoves the spinach-covered Krabby Patty in his mouth, and shoves the spinach-covered bread into Squidward's mouth. Kranky Krabs tells SpongeBob and Squidward that now they have enough energy, it's time to pop his back barnacles with a big machine he put inside Mr. Krabs' office.
SpongeBob's and Squidward's arms and legs were tired from pedaling on the bike to the big machine. Squidward was disgusted by the barnacle juice. Meanwhile, at Mr. Krabs' house, a sad Mr. Krabs was sitting on his bed. Pearl came into his room and Mr. Krabs tells her that he got fired and how he did. Pearl tells Mr. Krabs that he should stop overworking his employees and should beg his boss for his job back. Mr. Krabs goes to his boss' house. Meanwhile, at the Krusty Krab, SpongeBob and Squidward are hiding in Squidward's order station. Squidward had enough of being pushed around by a boss worse than Mr. Krabs. He joins SpongeBob in order to get rid of Kranky Krabs.
Squidward was casually mopping up the floor. SpongeBob was in the kitchen casually whistling and flipping the patties. When Kranky Krabs notices everything is perfect, he goes back into Mr. Krabs' office. SpongeBob calls his friend, Patrick, on the phone. Patrick comes over to the Krusty Krab and keeps Kranky Krabs in Mr. Krabs' office. While he does that, Squidward and SpongeBob find a large sack. When Kranky Krabs has had enough of this, he pushes Patrick out of Mr. Krabs' office. As he runs out of the Krusty Krab, he gives the signal to SpongeBob and Squidward. When Kranky Krabs comes out of his office, SpongeBob and Squidward catch Kranky Krabs in the sack.
Kranky Krabs was so mad at SpongeBob and Squidward for trapping him. Mr. Krabs comes to his boss' house and knocks on the door. His boss comes out of his house. Mr. Krabs gets on his knees and begs his boss for his job back. His boss accepts it and leads Mr. Krabs back to the Krusty Krab. When they get there, SpongeBob and Squidward aren't at their posts. He comes into his office and sees SpongeBob and Squidward tied up to his chair by Kranky Krabs.
He is feeding them spinach-covered Krabby Patties and Canned Bread. Mr. Krabs. is so angry at SpongeBob's and Squidward's new boss. Mr. Krabs fights Kranky Krabs in his office. Then he finally kicks Kranky Krabs out of the Krusty Krab and unties SpongeBob and Squidward from the chair. His boss was happy at his work and lets Mr. Krabs keep his job. SpongeBob and Squidward were very happy. Outside, Mr. Krabs' boss fires Kranky Krabs and gives him a new job: being a fry cook at the S. S. Diarrhea.
