The Spirit of Recollection was a Frontier Colony Starship, and was last captained by James Cook when it went MIA in the late 22nd century. It is also the first every ship to combine Celestial technology, uncovered by Samuel Hayden, a human with Celestial genes.

After the destruction of Chronon in the Frontier Civil War, caused by a Colony Starship hitting F.T.L propulsion system directly to the planet, causing the planet to crack, and explode. Escaping a devastating blow, and one of the few surviving Frontier Starships, it became lost with all hands after the Civil War. On the Starship, Captain James Cook had ordered all personal, and civilians to enter cyro-stasis until such time. However, the colonists are to stay in the cyro-chambers until a new planet is located.
