Space Mouse is a 2008 American family adventure live-action film directed by Matt Lopez, was produced by Regency Enterprises and Sunswept Entertainment and was distributed by 20th Century Fox and was released on April 4, 2008.

Plot

Space Mouse (Sean Astin) was a little mouse living in Tannersville, Pennsylvania. He travels in a flying saucer to save outer space from predators. He has a friend who is a german shepherd named Seamus (Craig T. Nelson). Space Mouse is on a mission to rescue Rebel (James Corden), a gerbil who got stuck in a drain outside the playground at Pocono Elementary School! Space Mouse makes a lasso out of a shoelace and drops it down the drain. Rebel takes the loop, wraps it around his waist, and Space Mouse pulls him to safety. Rebel thanks Space Mouse by giving him a wheel of cheese. Space Mouse shares the cheese with Rebel and his friends.
