Space Jam Reborn is an upcoming American live-action animated sports comedy film directed by Alex Kurtzman and written by Jeph Loeb, Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, and Kevin Smith. It serves as a direct sequel to Space Jam (1996), retroactively ignoring the events of Space Jam: A New Legacy (2021). The film stars Penny Bae Bridges in the lead role as a fictionalized version of Jasmine Jordan, Michael Jordan's daughter, alongside Gareth Greene; the live-action cast also includes Anthony Ramos and Ncuti Gatwa while Zendaya, Florence Pugh, Kieran Culkin, and Will Arnett headline the voice cast.
Space Jam Reborn is scheduled to be released in the United States by Warner Bros. Pictures.
Premise[]
The Looney Tunes, Tiny Toons and Animaniacs, along with a new generation of cartoon characters, find themselves forced to compete in an intergalactic basketball tournament hosted by an alien dictator. Things become further complicated when Michael Jordan's daughter is accidentally involved.
