Storyline[]
Early life[]
Sloane was born in New Jersey. She had a boyfriend in high school, but ended the relationship when he began to commit petty crimes. Afterwards, Sloane turned to girls and slept with various nameless girls quite often. After graduating high school, Sloane began to follow her dream to become a police officer for the Miami-Dade Police Department. During her training, Sloane met Jamie Sands at a bar. Despite being flirted on by her, Sloane turned Jamie down, but let Jamie put her number in her phone if she changed her mind. After graduating from the police academy, Sloane called Jamie.
Season 1[]
Sloane hooks up with Jamie, in the beginning of the first episode. Later on, she begins her first case which is the death of a private detective. When fellow officer Taylor Welton arrives at the police department, she first meets Sloane after literally running into her and making her spill coffee, books, etc. Sloane, who is rude to her at first, later apologizes at the armory. The two instantly become best friends.
Season 2[]
Sloane and Taylor have begun a relationship. However, this ends up getting complicated when Jamie returns in her life.

Sloane is a burnette.
Relationships[]
Sloane had trouble committing to a relationship when she broke up with her boyfriend. It is having Taylor in her life that results in her belief of having a committed relationship restored.

Sloane and Jared didn't like working together at first, but they eventually became good friends.
Taylor Welton[]
At first, Sloane wasn't so sure about Taylor as she considered her as just a co-worker. However, the two fell in love and ended up having sex in Sloane's apartment.
Jamie Sands[]
Sloane and Jamie hooked up with each other at the beginning of the pilot episode. She never really loved Jamie and considered her a distraction. However, after the two reunited during a case, Sloane made peace with Jamie telling her she wasn't into her and considered her a friend.
