Sindarin is the most spoken Elvish language in Westeros and Essos. It is commonly refered by Men across the Nine Kingdoms as simply "Elven" or "Elvish", and "the Elven tongue".
As with Quenya, the written alphabet of Sindarin is typically Tengwar, although the Cirth, which are the Runes, are also used to write in Sindarin.
