Silly Sing-Along 3 The Wonderful World of Auto-Tainment 2002 VHS

Silly Sing-Along 3: The Wonderful World of Auto-Tainment! is the third sing-along video and was released on VHS in November 26, 2002 by Word Entertainment and Warner Home Video.

Description

You know about the 2003 VeggieTales episode called The Wonderful World Of Autotainment? Well, I found a 2002 version of it, but instead of the regular episode that we all know in love this version is the third silly sing along! This VHS was released on November 26, 2002 which was the same day that The Yodelnapper from The Cartoon Adventures of Larryboy was released. This also has the same style of lyrics from VeggieTalesFan 2003’s take on the third silly sing along, but his take was different, because his version ended with the song Sport Utility Vehicle, this version however ends with a prototype version of the song Belly Button. Why is it a prototype you might ask? Well because some of the animation wasn’t quite done yet and the song was pitch shifted up a little bit for it to sound like a 1970’s/1980’s style of song and when Mr. Lunt says “do I at least get a lollipop” they forgot to pitch shift the voice so it was 2 semitones lower than the final version on the Ballad Of Little Joe and the scenes where the Boyz were on the couch talking to the viewers about the seriousness of the song weren’t even story-boarded back then. Plus it has a Silly Songs With Larry title card which the final version from The Ballad Of Little Joe did not. It also wasn't featured in a letter-boxed widescreen format like it was in the final in The Ballad Of Little Joe. Also the wheel of Veggies wasn’t animated back then, the scenes with the wheel were zoomed into Bob or Larry because the wheel was just a gray square at the time and they wanted to release this VHS on the same day that The Yodelnapper got released and they didn’t want to show that square that would be the wheel of veggies in a few months. Also some of the scenes even without the wheel weren’t animated yet either and at the beginning of the video when the auto-tainment theme song was playing, that version of the song wasn’t finished yet. They also had to zoom in on non-wheel scenes too because on one scene Bob’s eyes were looking at Larry and then on the next frame Bob was looking at the screen so they zoomed into Larry so no one would see that animation goof. They also clipped out some of the animations that were fine because some of the lines like when Larry said "if we have a good day or a bad day" were kinda funky because the microphone had some wires tangled up. There was also more applause sounds then the final and there was also text in front of the auto-tainment doors before every song, well except for before Belly Button, but it represented all the title cards of the songs that were played in this video. And also during The Grapes Of Wrath song the ventrilomatic saw the grapes’ old junky car and saw that Rusty has similarities with it so he paused the song and used the comparer 3000 and took Rusty’s picture and sure enough they both had robot parts so the ventrilomatic goes into joking about Rusty’s family. However the comparer 3000 wasn’t in the final version of this episode at all. I found this tape under an old organ at a church and it was in kinda good condition and this was the only one in the world that anyone’s ever found so I want to share it mainly with VeggieTalesFan 2003 so he can be impressed.
