Scatch the Cat is a 2014 animated action-adventure series aired on Disney Channel and Disney XD. The show stars a cat named Scratch in his efforts to protect the kingdom of Animalia and it's people from the many villains who threaten to harm it.

Scratch the Cat[]
Scratch is the 15-year-old protector and prince of Animalia, he likes to taunt people and tease people and make sarcastic remarks to them. Scratch likes to relax and is usually outside reading or hanging out under a tree. Scratch doesn't like his title of prince to be acknowledged and wants to be seen as more than just royalty, when he was 10 he chose to move out of the castle to live with his aunt at her house where he continues to live to the present day.

They later learn it's because their king is a tyrant with fire powers who threatens their lives if they don't do his bidding. Scratch learns about a prophecy through a citizen that states only a teenage cat with a specific appearance can consume fruits that transform him and give him special powers. The described appearance matches Scratch perfectly. Being informed of this prophecy, Scratch consumes the Fire Fruit and decides to fight fire with fire. | April 12th, 2014 |
