SalvationGirl! is a spin-off of the chinese superhero novel of the same name, and this Comedy Central animated aired in 2019. It has been criticized for its radically different style from the original and for its excessive violent, pornographic content.

Plot

Universe 56, the abandoned universe, is a chaotic and strange place where unusual things happen every day. Join the heroes and spend the most ridiculous, violent days with them! Warning: Not suitable for underage superheroes and villains to watch!

Characters

For obvious reasons, all characters are adults.

SalvationGirl

Lanna, a suspicious Asian tomboy girl, and a titular superhero/chosenone who can manipulate the shadows. By day, she's a tired student at Clifton Ridge School, and by night, she's the dirtiest vigilante in MaconCity! She is a being that has made countless heroes and villains feared alike! She's going to be your worst nightmare!

SalvationKid

Top Butt-Monkey. SalvationKid Qiwei Gu is SalvationGirl's almost useless partner and assistant, he is a nerd with no superpowers, obsessed with SalvationGirl (she only treats him as the best dude), and somehow easily becomes a target for kidnapping.

The Lightbringer

Ryder T. Fingordani is a naïve rich black lady. She can shoot pretty cool's light from her eyes. One of SalvationGirl's lovers, she half-jokingly refers to Ryder as a bimbo.

Retroman

No. 2 Butt-Monkey. Retroman Rocco Williams was born in 1880 and has survived to the present day because of some kind of power, and is constantly ridiculed for his age in the show. A right-wing who claims not to be a right-wing and a Armoured Closet Gay（It is also implied to be an Ambiguously Bi）

Captain Courageous

Absolutely not related to public domain character of the same name. Captain Courageous（often referred to simply as CC）is a super patriot who is the embodiment of the spirit of all United States, appearing at any time and helping men and women (he has transphobia) in need of a free spirit. He was so patriotic that his vomit was a pattern of the flag.

General Freedom

General Freedom Frank Anderson is a cute baby boy and a super anarchists, completely American with an unrivaled free spirit (even CC). One of SalvationGirl's lovers, and also maintains a delicate relationship with CC.

Hyaline Detective

A transparent man in a stereotypical detective suit. Somehow looks attractive.

Clarence

The boss of an unnamed gang in MaconCity. Wears a mask on his face every day because of his low self-esteem. For some reason he likes to stay in abandoned factories with his gang and play poker. One of SalvationGirl's reluctant lovers.

Hundred Faces

Varian（pseudonym Robert Johnson）is the quarterback of the high school football team and the supervillain Hundred Faces, who has the ability to shapeshift and terribly afraid of pepper spray. One of SalvationGirl's lovers.

The Purifier

The Purifier Eva Freeman is a psychopathic gas killer who wants to genocide all of humanity. In Universe 56, she survived and joined the carnival of heroes and villains. In some episodes, she has an affair with SalvationGirl.

Cornerstone

Cornerstone Cardera Kellyn is the evil capitalist leader of the International Association of SuperHumans (IAS). In Universe 56, she goes from a neutral character to a bad character, and she forced work the scientists of the IAS just for build her her Super Universe Coffee Machine. She has a suspicious lesbian relationship with scientist Laserdreamer.
