Sakura Kinomoto (木之本 さくら, Kinomoto Sakura) is a playable character in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo Switch. Because she was playable since Magical Battle Arena and Magical Battle Arena NEXT, Sakura was confirmed in the Magical Girl Trailer on November 1st, 2017 along with Lana, Justice and Reimu. Her trailer was shown at E3 when the manga for the Clear Card Arc of Cardcaptor Sakura was released in the year 2016. Created by Clamp, Sakura is one of the nineteen third party characters in this game. along with Konami's Snake, Bandai Namco's Pac-Man, Goku and Naruto, Capcom's Mega Man and Ryu, Sega's Sonic, Bayonetta and AiAi, Square Enix's Cloud, Golgoth Studio's Justice, Activision's Crash, Team Shanghai Alice's Reimu, Rumiko Takahashi's Inuyasha, Nickelodeon's SpongeBob, Bryan Lee O'Malley's Scott Pilgrim and Disney's Ralph and Elsa. So far, Sakura uses her Japanese voice (Sakura Tange), while in the English version, she's voiced by Monica Rial which uses her voice clips from the Clear Card Arc for Cardcaptor Sakura.

Trophy Description

Watch out everyone! It's the magical Cardcaptor! Sakura goes on a journey to find and capture the magical cards called the Clow Cards. In Super Smash Bros., she battles using four different cards: Windy, which creates tornadoes, Watery, which blows her opponents away, Fly, which lets her fly through the air, and Mirror, which lets her turn into a fighter she's facing.
