Ryan and Dory’s Family is a 2018 Australian-American Family animated comedy drama adventure film. Produced by Village Roadshow Pictures and distributed by Warner Bros Pictures and DreamWorks Pictures, the film was directed by Andrew Adamson, with co-directed by John Stevenson and Mark Osborne. It was produced by John H. Williams and Don Hahn, and written by Tab Murphy, John Fusco and John Collee.

It has 0% on Rotten Tomatoes and was criticized for its humour, voice acting, songs, score, characters and even a few genre surprises. The only praising is Jack Black, Hugh Jackman and others.

Production[]
The makers of the film announced the film, during the production of Pan. Warner Bros. announce the production with animation studio as well. Warner Bros. hired Andrew Adamson, the director of Shrek and Shrek 2, to direct the film. Adamson stated that "he wanted to release the film in 3D and it looks better if we polish the script"
Adamson said that the tone of the film is gonna be romantic, a la Shrek. As the studio polishing the script, Warner Bros. officially sends John Stevenson and Mark Osborne, the directors of the first Kung Fu Panda film. While Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice began finishing filming, the studio agree that the production will began in 2017. Also, John H. Williams, the producer of Shrek, was announced to produce the film.
The studio finally released the film on April 20, 2018 in the US and May 25 in India.

Hans Zimmer and Harry Gregson Williams will collaborate and compose the score and songs for the film. John Powell were originally going to collaborate with these two composers. Powell worked with Kung Fu Panda, while Powell worked with Harry Gregson-Williams. But, Powell left the project to work on Ferdinand and Solo: A Star Wars Story.
