Robotboy: Age of Maximus is an upcoming science-fiction live-action comedy film based on the animated TV series and sequel to the first Robotboy live-action film. It is starring Laurence Bouvard, Ross Lynch, Noah Munck and China Anne McClain, and Megan Messina. It is directed by Michael Bay.
Summary
Tommy Turnbull and Robotboy team up with Gus and Lola and a new group of humans, led by an 18 year old inventor and engineer named Emily Hartford, as they go face-to-face with an unexplained evil.
Plot
Robotboy, Robotgirl, and Protoboy save Tommy, Donnie, Lola, and Gus and escape Kaziland. Suddenly, Lord Maximus, the leader of Maximus-7 and his army arrived and attacked. Robotboy and Robotgirl both superactivate and fought their army, but Maximus' army caused Robotboy to separate from Robotgirl, Protoboy, Donnie,Tommy, Lola, and Gus. Maximus' army fired the missiles and severely damages Robotboy and his weapon systems, causing him to retreat. Robotboy retreats to the countryside of Houston, Texas, hides in an old robot shop, and collapses from his injuries and becomes unconscious.
The next morning, an 18 year old engineer named Emily Hartford gets dropped off by her father Chris Hartford and her mother Beth Hartford at an old robot shop to let her go see her friend Mac Martin, looking for parts for her lab in the barn. She finds Robotboy in his superactivation, lying unconscious and badly damaged. She buys Robotboy along with the other robot equipment.
Meanwhile, Lord Maximus and the rest of Maximum-7 try to find a way to defeat Robotboy and get ready for world domination. He exclaims the age of humanity is over.
Back in Houston, Emily and Mac bring Robotboy and the old robot equipment to her lab in the barn. Ruby Robinson, another one of Emily's friends, observes this while video-chatting her boyfriend and criticizes her for buying the heap of junk. She and Mac start to repair Robotboy.
Meanwhile, Donnie struggles with finding Robotboy's location. As for Tommy, he points out that he has found where Robotboy is located. It said that Robotboy is located somewhere in Houston, Texas. The gang make their way to Houston.
That night in Houston, Emily continued to fix Robotboy and her parents arrived and brought her dinner. She asked her parents who created Robotboy, and Chris told her that Robotboy was created by Professor Moshimo, who was a friend of Emily's grandfather, and Beth told her that someday that Emily will be like her grandfather in order to give her confidence.
The next morning, Beth and Chris are away on their trip to Tokyo and Emily promises to do her best while they're away. Emily continues to repair Robotboy and realizes that a distress message was heard telling his friends to find him as soon as possible. She calls Ruby and Mac and tells them that Robotboy was created by Professor Moshimo and heard a message that he needs help. Ruby and Mac advocate calling the government, claiming that there will be a huge reward for Robotboy. Emily convinces them not to call the authorities until he can spend more time working on Robotboy, as she may be able to stumble on a technological breakthrough if he can fully repair him. When Emily removes a live missile from Robotboy's chest, Robotboy wakes up, still superactivated and heavily damaged badly. He roars at them to stay back while he swings his weapon around the barn. Emily, Ruby, and Mac asks why Robotboy is so badly damaged, to which he replies that he was hunted by Lord Maximus and he must help them, Emily offers and agrees to repair him
In the Arctic, Maximus arrives via helicopter and demands why Robotboy escaped in Kaziland. One of his soldiers said that Robotboy wouldn't have escaped if it weren't for his interference, but Maximus wishes to only capture Robotboy.

- Emily Hartford: Who are you?
- Robotboy (superactivated): My name is Robotboy, I was created by Professor Moshimo and sent to Tommy Turnbull. I just got separated from my friends, and now they're in danger. (Suddenly, Robotboy collapses onto his knees looking badly injured) I need to go. I need to go now.
- Emily Hartford: How far you think you're gonna get? Ruby, come here. He needs our help. What happened to you?
- Robotboy (superactivated): An ambush, a trap, set by Lord Maximus. Maximus is the very definition of evil and terrorism. He's half alien and half human.
- Ruby Robinson: But I thought he's a human like us. Why would he do this to you?
- Robotboy (superactivated): They were not alone. My friends can repair me.
- Emily Hartford: Yeah. If you can reach 'em. What about me? I wanna help.
