Roadtrips & Sex Songs (stylized as roadtrips&sexsongs.) is the third studio album by American recording artist Ross Lynch, that was released on 23 March 2017, through Hollywood Records. The official tracklist was revealed over Facebook on February 6.
Singles[]
- Three Girls, One Elevator was released on February 2, 2017, as the album's lead single. It features American singers Zendaya Coleman and Victoria Justice, as well as the British singer Cher Lloyd. "Three Girls, One Elevator" received positive reviews from critics. Tim Sendra of AllMusic was positive and said that the song "has a loose-limbed bounce that's missing from the pro tracks, the disco throwback". Gary Graff of Billboard was positive about the funk-theme direction, highlighting the other songs of the album, and compared it to songs of Michael Jackson. The official music video for the song was directed by Hannah Lux Davis and premiered February 15, 2017. Described by critics as "provocative," the video finds Ross Lynch shirtless and engaging in sexual behaviour with model Charlotte McKinney in an elevator, amongst other clips of the singers and "barely clothed" dancers.
- Flashback Love was released as the second single on March 11, 2017. The song's accompanying music video was directed by Marc Klasfeld and released via YouTube on March 27, 2017. It follows a dance in school where all in attendance "start making out on the floor, including the chaperones".
