Protarchaeopteryx (SciiFii)
Protarchaeopteryx modernii (name meaning "modern strong primitive archaeopter") is a species of small primitive oviraptorid non-avian dinosaur that originally lived during the Early Cretaceous in what is now China and it was once extinct, but has since been brought back from extinction by SciiFii and now lives in Cretaceous Park located in Sacramento, California. It is about the size of a large chicken, growing to be around 1.8 feet tall, 2 feet long, with the wingspan of 2 feet across, and weigh about as much as an average sized chicken. Protarchaeopteryx modernii is a herbivore that mainly feeds on, fruits, nuts, seeds, leaves, ferns, and horsetails. The lifestyle of Protarchaeopteryx modernii is very similar to gamebirds, including turkeys, quails, and the earlier-mentioned chickens. Due to Protarchaeopteryx modernii being tame, as well as being easy to keep and care for, SciiFii is planning on selling some of the Protarchaeopteryx modernii to bird breeders and farm sanctuaries, for people who want to keep and care for Protarchaeopteryx modernii as pets, guard animals to protect gamebirds, and/or just to add more free-ranging bird-like animals in some areas.
