Power Outage is the fourth episode of the first season of The Phantom, premiering on the CW Television Network on November 4, 2015.

Danny encounters a technopathic ghost that can manipulate and merge with technology, and feeds off electricity. Now Danny must stop him, but struggles to seal him off from all electronic devices. Meanwhile, Danny starts looking in to his parents' past work on the supernatural, while Tucker continues to fix up some of their old gear.
Synopsis[]
At a computer store, a powersurge is shown moving through wires of multiple technological devices, and suddenly a surge of electricty shoots out and forms into a ghost, who begins attacking the employees, until Danny shows up and confronts the ghost, who announces himself as the Technus "the Ghost Master of Science and Technology". Technus blasts Danny and then escapes into the powerlines, so Danny returns to the Lab where Tucker continues to work on the Fentons' old gear.
At School, Danny meets up with Valerie to see if she's doing ok, due to it being the anniversary of her mother's death, and she brushes off her real sorrow. Sam and Tucker arrive to tell Danny they may have a way of stopping Technus, who shows up and attacks Danny, so he transforms and battles Technus. After a short battle, Technus seemingly flees, but unknown to the trio, Technus has really just hid in Tucker's PDA.
That day after School, Sam walks down into the lab, where Tucker continues to work on Danny's parent's old gear and Danny is reading a file. Sam asks Danny what he's doing and he says that he's researching all of his parents' old work, since it was apparently important enough for the Men In White to steal. Suddenly, the computers and gadgets in the Lab begin going haywire. One of the old ray guns activates and nearly hits Tucker, but Danny pulls him out of the way and begins shooting all the weapons activated, and Technus shows himself and attacks Danny. Technus begans controlling the technology around the whole house and nearly kills Jazz, but Danny saves her. Jazz looks the Phantom, who is blurring his face to avoid Jazz finding out who he really is and returns to the lab. Tucker tells Danny to get him in the lab console, so Danny tricks him into going into the lab console, but Tucker activates a virus to repel Technus, who, weakened, slowly begins to reform, before Danny traps him in the ghost thermus.
Afterward Danny returns to his human form and goes upstairs to see Jazz, who tells him about what happened and about the man that saved her. Sam walks upstairs and said that during the madness in the Lab, she found a very important file
Later that day, Danny goes to the cemetery to find Valerie weeping at her mother's grave, and she cries in harms.
