The Poke Sentai Series is a parody online series based around Super Sentai and Pokemon. Created by Hugh Corona, Kyle Bourne, Travis Bourne, and Lucas Desmond, Poke Sentai was initially come up with while the group was drunk, and thought it would be funny if the Super Sentai series was re-subbed to become part of the Pokemon franchise. Later on, the four ultimately decided to go through with the re-sub, and to their surprise, actually enjoyed making the show. So they decided that they would go through with creating the series.

Using the original footage from Sentai, the crew would go through the episodes creating completely new subtitles(that are NOT correct translations of what is being said by the Japanese actors), turning the entire season into one based off of Pokemon, including changing the names of the characters, mechas, weapons, etc. This led to characters' entire personalities changing around, plot lines getting cut, episodes getting shortened or cut all together, and several other problems they have to endure to create the show. Regardless, they pulled through, and began production on their first season.
