Placerias sciifii (name meaning "SciiFii's Placerias") is a large mostly-hairless species of non-mammal synapsid part of the Dicynodont family that originally lived in what is now North America during the Late Triassic and was once extinct, but has since been brought back from extinction by SciiFii and now lives in Cretaceous Park located in Sacramento, California. It can grow to be about 11 feet (3.5 meters) long and weigh about as much as an average-sized hippopotamus, and like them, Placerias sciifii is a herbivore, mainly feeding on fruits, leaves, nuts, underwater plants, roots, tubers, shrubs, ferns, and horsetails. It is a social herding animal that lives can live in groups of around 25-30 members. Much like hippopotamuses, Placerias sciifii relies on living near waters due to high needs of life of water to drink, to cool down in heat, and to keep its skin wet, preventing it from cracking from the dry skin.
