Pack Tyrant

A group of pack tyrants hunting a herd of bison in Alaska.

A pack tyrant (Albertosaurus sarcophagus) is a species of large carnivorous non-avian theropod dinosaur part of the Tyrannosaur family. Originally, they were once extinct in the Late Cretaceous North America due to competition for food from the prehistoric group of great tyrants (Tyrannosaurus rex) that came from Asia and invaded North America, but thanks to time travelers who saved pack tyrants from extinction and brought into Holocene North America around the 1910s, their populations in North America today are growing due to abundant prey items like rhinoceroses, elephants, and among other large herbivores (native and nonnative) that flourishes in North America. They are not as big as great tyrants in size, but what they lack in size, they are social pack hunters, more so than great tyrants, living in groups up to about 7, and their intelligence is slightly greater than that of a great tyrant, due to being social animals. They are part scaly and part feathery, with their scales being gray and grayish blue and their feathers being dark blue in color, while they make deep booming sounds that resemble that of a great tyrant, but are slightly higher in pitch. Their conservation status is Least Concern due to being protected against poachers and these tyrants being naturally nonaggressive and tame towards dylanusids and sapient species/beings, except vampires. The pack tyrants also can adapt to a life in the cities and suburbs, preying only on elephants, rhinoceroses, camels, and other large non-domestic herbivores.
